Cash-only cafe, perfect for breakfast or lunch. You get a bang for your buck, coffee is good, service is prompt and the decor is lovely. Our go-to spot in Birchwood! Get the Spanish omelet or the stuffed hash browns.
Not sure why this dump gets any good reviews. Went in for breakfast with a party of six, waitress, owner, barfly or whatever felt the need to give a very loud sigh as if we are putting her out by us coming in and giving her business. Told us it would be a “very” long wait and again asked us how many we had in our party and the sigh again appeared. Now I understand if they were busy, they were not. Decided to not spend my money here and went to the Birchwood Cafe, where we were seated immediately and enjoyed a delicious breakfast and by the way the Birchwood was busier. Avoid the rustic at all costs.
This food was fresh and so yummy. My entire family got something different and we all enjoyed every bite. Prices were very reasonable and would recommend anyone to go here!
This is a hidden gem! We stopped on the way home to the Twin Cities and found delicious food and cheerful service. We got burgers, but the blueberry pie looked really good! We were drawn to the patio and side yard - the baby and dog had a little space to roam while we waited for food. And we played the bean bag toss that was there too! I highly recommend. Do note that they didn’t take credit cards, so you need cash or can use the ATM inside.
Can't go wrong with the Yeti for breakfast! Love sitting outside and taking it all in. Staff is super quick and pretty friendly.
We were in birchwood for a wedding, stayed the the birchwood motel..excellent place to stay. We were looking for a place that served Breakfast. We stopped in here not sure what to expect..excellent service and food. I would highly recommend this place and we will be back.
