Russell's On the Lake

This place is absolutely wonderful. Me and my husband live in Arizona, and we have a lot of options as far as restaurants. This restaurant is so good that if we moved here it would be a common place for us to eat. It's not too expensive, maybe a little bit cheaper than a red robin. About $10 to $14 for a meal. Absolutely incredible. I have Celiac, and they accommodated me so well. I feel comfortable eating here. I got walleye sandwich with a gluten-free bun, and gluten free hash browns. The atmosphere is very wonderful - both classy and comfortable. They have a new owner, and he is absolutely wonderful. I would encourage coming here often so that it stays alive. It is a gem.

Very tasty! We went for lunch on Saturday about noon. My husband had the massive 20 oz prime rib which was massive and he said was very delicious. I had grilled shrimp with butter on the side. Tasted like lobster, no kidding. Nice wait staff, very attentive. I would definitely recommend the drive from the cities.

Food was amazing and a lot to choose from, from salads to steak. Service was amazing and served our table adequately. Large selection of beers and wines to choose from. Great view of the lake and provides sectional quiet rooms for better atmosphere.

Beautiful view but very slow service. It was not busy at all so I'm mot sure if they had to "catch the fish" first??? The food was good however, one person in our party of 10 thought the fish was undercooked . . . The view was beautiful!

Great atmosphere! Very accommodating to large groups. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was very tasty.
