Rushing River Store

Went here in late August for fire wood, it was way too expensive and it was wet. Also the building is old and can use some updating. Having the store located in the park would also be much more convenient !

The Owners and Staff continue every year to go above and beyond for the local campers. I Have been going to the Rushing River General Store since I was a kid, it is a family tradition. Great place to visit and grab supplies while camping in the woods!.

This store has literally everything..ice..camping suuplues/food..drinks..trailer parts..camping stuff..firewood..gifts/ souvenirs and the owner was very helpful.

The store is old but offers a wide array of goods. The associated mini golf course, on the other hand, is almost unplayable and extremely run down and should be demolished or completely redone. The bones might be ok but it’s obvious that it hasn’t had any attention in a very long time. I’m assuming the mini golf course was absolutely amazing 35+ years ago but sadly it isn’t the case anymore. Their COVID-19 protocols appear to be on point so if you a person that remains paranoid about these distancing measures then you will be please from this stand point.

Went for ice cream, very small portion and very high price. Won't be stopping there again.

Bizarre/frustrating staff. Ordered a pogo for me and an ice cream for my wife. Cashier gave us ice cream and ran away to hide in the store. When asked 20 minutes later, she claimed that she heard "I'd like an ice cream for my wife instead of a pogo". Why would I be listing food I don't want? In the end, they refused to serve us further or refund us. Avoid.

Old-fashioned General Store, mostly serving camper's needs. Has good ice cream and a cute mini-golf course attached. Also rents canoes.

This is literally my favourite place! I have been going here since I was very young. Friendly staff, really neat stuff and very tidy.

Friendly staff, only open in the summer. Has mini-golf, food, canoe rental and all kinds of stuff inside.
