Welcome to Ruff’s Wings & Sports Bar, Willmar’s best sports bar! You want it, we’ve got it! We have Ruff’s Tap House featuring local Minnesota brews. 11/01/2025nIf I could give ZERO stars across the board I wouldnWe had reservations for 5:00PM for 10 people. Our server Ashley was rude from the get. Service was very slow. We ordered apps Pretzels, fried pickles & Jalapeño poppers all were fine. My 2 year old son ACCIDENTALLY spilled ranch on the floor & Ashley got mad for having to clean it up- it was “extra work”. We ordered 5 kids meals + 7 “adult” meals. Simple things wings, burgers, flat bread. We waited 45 minutes for our food. Our food came out cold, and when we politely mentioned that the service wasn’t great, Ashley immediately responded with, “I can give you your tickets and to-go boxes because I won’t provide service to you.” Completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. As we were eating our food & still waiting for 1 order Ashley proceeds to give us our checks. The “manager” then came over & was just as rude, if not worse- threatening to call the cops. Brought over the food order we were waiting for in a to go box & stated we needed to leave. $126.00 for my family of 5.. NEVER again.nnThe service industry is literally about serving customers — if you can’t handle that, you shouldn’t be working in it. Completely unprofessional attitudes, zero respect, and the food definitely didn’t make up for any of it. We’ll never be back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
The food and service was good. We visited for supper with a family of 6. Service was fine and the entrees were tasty. The chicken taco theme leaned towards oriental flavor seasonings; spicy with cabbage and carrots. The Parmesan garlic seasoned boneless wings had more vinegar than we prefer… out taste though. Burgers were good and cooked to order. Overall our expectations were met, yet not exceeded and we were satisfied.
All the staff at this location are very nice and friendly... The food is awesome and the drinks are well made! Right off the lobby at the Best Western in Willmar.nnGood hours good food and good service!
Ruff's Wings and Sports Bar is exactly what it says it is. They have wings and sports. They do everything right, the food is well priced and delicious! I had the Ultimated Burger, this burger was massive! Chicken tenders on it and all the fixings. Absolutely superb and will absolutely get it again. My partner got the Chicken n' Wings. Now I have never seen these two items mixed together and served together with cheese on top, but let me tell you this. It works. Stop by and try this place out or come again. You will not be disappointed. Staff was friendly and on point. I will be going back next time I'm in Wilmer.
The people that work here are always nice. Answer any questions my family has a put the menu. Very knowledgeable of the drinks they serve. We have not been disappointed at all! I recommend coming here if your in Wilmar.
