Did not care for this place at all. Ordered dinner for two. Chop suey strange taste. Friend did not like either. Threw most of it out.
Best wonton soup and egg rolls..hands down. I haven't ordered anything else yet but I definitely will be returning.
We have always enjoyed what ever we have ordered . Great tasty food and plenty of it .
We ordered takeout a week ago. The food was exceptional! Unlike most Chinese restaurants, everything was home made and delicious. I would undoubtedly order Wonton soup, Lo Mein, Soo Guy and General Tao chicken only from Ruby King in the future. The prices are reasonable and the portions are sizeable.
I don’t usually leave reviews and I hate to leave a bad one but we could not even eat the takeout here. We thought we’d try it since all the higher rated Chinese restaurants in Amherstburg and Lasalle were closed. The food smelled and tasted of cigarettes and was not fresh especially the fried rice and chicken. The red sauce was a different taste, colour and consistency than what is usually served with chicken. We had to throw it away. I should have known when I picked up our takeout and saw the sign saying no refunds/no talking to a manager.
We have been eating here for years. Never have had a poor meal. The service is extremely friendly. Lots to look at and very unique.
Called them Valentine’s Day, they were so polite and friendly. Our food was ready quickly and when we arrived they said they had a gift for us and a Valentine’s card. Our food was delicious, we will definitely be returning.
I never write negative reviews, but this time I felt I had to. I ordered a chicken ball meal and paid over $15 for pick-up, once I got home I tried to eat my food and I could only have the soup and egg roll, which were pretty good. The sweet and sour sauce though was completely inedible and the chicken balls were stale. Usually I can handle any quality of fried rice by putting sweet and sour on it, but the sauce was just so aweful and the rice was so bland. I'm not sure if there was a mistake with the sauce recipe, but I really hope so. I feel so bad for writing this review, but I wish I had read a review like this before spending that amount of money on a cheat day just to throw out the majority of my meal. This was my first and last time ordering here.
It was pretty good , was kinda busy tho but the food was hot and served rather fast
Website says open till 9pm. They are only open till 8pm. Oh! Best part the driver quits before 730 so don't expect delivery!S news too cause the foods pretty good.
