What a beautiful blast from the past! This dinner style reservations is so cute! Its like taking a trip back in time. The owners are such lovely people. It felt like my mom made the biscuits and gravy. You can really tell they want to make sure their guests are having a good experience. Very pleased

Great for what it is, classic all American diner. It's a place for day drinkers 10 am before even seated, asked "want to start with coffee, water, or cocktails", workers not a place hit by inflation, and retirees. Hasn't been updated in 30+ years, and it shows. Kitchen may be cleaned often not sure about the rest of the place. Don't go expecting vegan options or soy milk and you'll be fine.

Quintessential diner style spot for breakfast or lunch fare. No frills but that makes a good diner spot. Affordable plates and usually quick turnaround time.

There are fewer and fewer good, cheap, local diners around these days, but ol' Rubat is holding down the fort. Great for exactly what's advertised: good, cheap diner food in large quantities, as early as you want it. This place delivers on a promise.Food: 5/5

Food is ok but the drinks are strong in the bar. The owner Bobby is pretty cool. The only bad thing is the restaurant is only open for a few hours a day closes at 2pm but the bar is open from 6am to 2am Kid-friendliness: Not a place I'd take my Young kids too but teenagers would be ok in the restaurant

What a find! Being a Midwest boy I don't expect much from breakfast joints in Washington. But, what a home food feel kinda Diner! The food is fresh and made to order. A guy next to me ordered biscuits and gravy,, chicken fried steak,, and hashbrowns and the stacked it all on top of eachother. They knew most tge customers on a first name basis.Most everything is scratch made and Ms. Stacy is super welcoming. I highly recommend this hidden gem.

Really good food and great menu. Wish they asked for proof of vaccination like they are supposed to. I also like that the cook has a tip jar.

All you expect of a good old fashion diner, great breakfast

The bar connected with Rubattino's "the owl room" This is the weirdest dive bar I've ever been to. Drinks are super cheap but if you want beer there's only 4 options that range from Coors lite, Bud lite, Budweiser and I believe Heineken. The regulars look like this literally never leave this place and 1 of them seemed to think I was an undercover cop and was very determined to get me to admit it. The entertainment is endless
