Stopped in yesterday morning and had a breakfast wrap and coffee. It was very good. The wrap was freshly prepared and tasty. They roast coffee in-house and do a good job. They had a Guatemalan Huehuetenango coffee, which was nice. The decor is cozy and the bathroom is clean and nicely decorated. A highly-recommended coffee stop anytime you’re in the Comox Valley.
This is a gem of a place. Fun vibes, friendly faces and so tastefully decorated. The baking is fresh and delicious. The owners work with other bakeries to source their baking, with many items baked with sour dough. Uniquely packaged fresh roasted beans are available for sale.
It was pouring today and we are lucky to have found this little gem of a cozy place which was on the way from our hotel to town. There were blankets provided on the chairs inside and outside, also, a beautiful sofa corner in front of a warm wall painting of a sunset, what a nice vibe. The coffee was good, staff friendly. I think the locals here are lucky to have this lovely cafe. I recommend this place to all coffee lovers.
Royston Roasting Co. has everything you want in a great local coffee shop: comfortable indoor and outdoor seating, friendly service, a selection of delicious baking, fresh roasted coffee beans, and amazing coffee! Our kids loved sitting in the small rocking chairs and playing with the sidewalk chalk. Wow. We’ll definitely be coming back here quite a bit.
The coffee house is unique. Very comfortable space and nicely decorated inside and outside. Owners are very welcoming. I enjoyed my latte and French delicious croissant and egg veggy wrap. This place offers free parking and wheel chair accessible. For those who are travelling on Hwy 19B to Comox Valley a short stop to Royston Roasting is very convenient. They roast and sell their own coffee beans and much much more see photos on selected blends. You can also find local ice cream and local dark chocolate here.
The best little coffee shop in the Valley. Their drip coffee was good, with Rotating flavors. Light breakfast and lunch is available. I enjoyed my egg and bacon wrap. Sweet treats also, and none coffee beverages. Local Blue Spruce ice cream Interior is very nice with a relaxed seating area. Big garage door opening for lots of fresh air. Outside seating area also. Nice clean washroom. Easy parking. Perfect destination for a morning motorcycle ride, as I do. Or get a coffee to go and walk Roystons Marine drive. Edit: The Chilli is perfect, for an afternoon lunch

A MUST STOP! I can’t say enough good things about this place! Excellent coffee, snacks/lunch.. and excellent atmosphere! Coffee is roasted in the same building so it’s nice and fresh.. and the wife and husband who run it are friendly and knowledgeable. Oh did I mention nice, clean bathrooms? Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area!
