The only semi fine dining Indian restaurant with chefs and serviceing personal from India. Good food, tasty, value for the money as they serve appropriate portion size. Nice ambiance, good seating arrangement with licensed bar. Reservation not necessary during off season, however it is wise to call and reserve during summers. Friendly and dedicated customer service exists but at time depends on availability of adequate manpower. This operation run by a nice and friendly couple who dedicated to maintain the steady growth of this establishment.

"Just a few lines to thank you so much for the wonderful meal and excellent service on Tuesday night. Extremely high standard of cuisine,coupled with great restaurant atmosphere.very courteous/happy staff.A real pleasure,hats off to you guys,specially chief to introduce us with a wonderful food,their royal mix grilled was excellent,keep it up and do not worry about those who did not like your service and food,just think that they don't know about the real taste of life.For me and my family,its a best food we ever eat in our entire life.Your hard work and consideration were very much appreciated.If you guys wanna your night special as us then we would recommend this lovely restaurant to all, I will definitely to go back soon.

We have visited Zayka twice now and agree with other reviewers that the food is quite good. Despite being a buffet. We have ordered take out as well, service was fast and food was again well prepared. The only complaint was that the take-out portions are a bit on the small side. All that considered still gets 5 stars when ranked against other CR restaurant offerings.

I'd suggest the cheese stuffed Naan with basil herb seasoning, but they only make it 1/2 the time. The other half of the time the cranky lady will say no and that she doesn't have time to take your order. Have been ordering here for months and am tired of the cranky lady. The food is good, but the attitude isn't worth it.

We travel widely and this is some of the best Indian food in our experience, including in the UK and throughout the US. The palak paneer was excellent, with the lamb cooked superbly, and the bhaji and rice was delicious. Campbell River is definitely remote, but if you have the chance, don't pass this up.
