Royal York Station is my favorite spot in Toronto! I take the subway from here daily for work, and the convenience and efficiency are unbeatable. The station is clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. Whether you're commuting or just exploring the city, Royal York Station is a great starting point.
Easier entrance for Royal york if heading West-bound, No access to buses on this side and usually no TTC clerk.
I use the subway regularly . I have to say that Royal York station is one that I see as a necessary step to get to islington or Kipling. .it is a fair distance from Jane on the east and closer to Islington on the west. For some reason the waiting platforms are beige. Dull, utilitarian beige. When the TTC did some modetnizatikn if some of the subway stations, I think Royal York lost the draw as it retains that vintage feel.
Unmonitored entrance and exist to subway with many sketchy people hanging out. Best be extra careful and vigilant here especially evenings.
It's literally straight out of the Subway, so pretty easy access.nAnd they're also very helpful. And also they have a fridge which gives you all of the things that you want
