This little gem was hidden in the middle of Tukwila. The service restaurant was excellent. The food was incredible, besides the pad Thai you can see on the picture, the green curry and the drunken noodlesI would get them with pork were outstanding! We also tried the mango and the banana desserts, and they were delicious. I will be definitely coming back to try more items of their menu, since I am sure they will not disappoint!
Stopped by at complete random… I was hungry and was not expecting much from the looks of it outside. To my surprise… I am so satisfied, and look forward to sharing my experience to all my friends. Definitely a place to visit!
Amazingly kind service. Literally just felt like I was being helped by the nicest people ever. As we left our server who was sitting near the exit waved us out and wished us the most genuine good day. Also the food was fantastic. There is literally nothing to say other than great food from great people. Worry about nothing if you are here to eat some tasty food. Literally. Just stop here, eat, and be happier for it.
Placed an order for delivery through a popular delivery service. The curry dish did not include rice to my surprise. I guess it is an additional item. That's my fault, but I've never been to a Thai restaurant that doesn't include rice with curry. Also, I am not a glutinous person but the portions are very small. They also forgot utensils and napkins. I called to let them know and they blamed me for not telling the delivery service. Really? On what planet do you send soup out the door without a spoon, or even a napkin. Insult to injury, I ordered the drunken noodle as well and there are bone fragments in the chicken. I informed the restaurant and they said "No I don't think so." Terrible service. Order from somewhere else. Bone fragments pictured.
My love of Thai food has been restored! I had some bad experiences at a number of Thai restaurants over the years, mostly because I felt like they ruined a lot of dishes with too much fish sauce. I was very pleased that Royal Orchid does not overdo it. Plus, the atmosphere is very comfortable, the staff are kind and helpful, and everything we had was delicious. The wonton and noodle soup is fantastically savory, and OMG, the stuffed chicken wings are incredible. They took me back to my first Thai meal when I was a teenager, which I loved. A new favorite restaurant!
We love this place! Our orders are always spot on and consistent. We usually do take-out and everything is always hot, fresh and correct! The crab delight is delish -- the best in the area, hands down! The staff are also very kind and helpful. This place deserves 5 stars in my book!
Unfortunately, I had a horrendous experience at this restaurant today. I’ve dined at this restaurant multiple times since the early 2000’s. I walked in and was quickly seated. The hostess handed me a menu. As I peered down at the closed menu. I noticed something hanging on the side of the menu. After further visual inspection it became quite clear what it was…. It was a dead smushed Roach !!! Stunned, nauseous and horrified, I gracefully told the waitress I was leaving. I was offered a different table before exiting. I respectfully declined and left expeditiously. Apparently, there is a Google review from 2019 in which a frequent customer complained about a Cockroach being found in their food. Upon further investigation rodent and insects have been mentioned in multiple King County health inspection reports for this restaurant.
I ordered cashew chicken off the lunch menu. I got home with it and had no chicken or cahsews, just huge pieces of peppers and white onion. I called twice to resolve my issue and couldn't speak to a manager instead I kept getting told, you don't get chicken with the lunch menu...hahahahaha she didn't want to talk about where even the cashews were. I could have made giant pepper pieces and onions at home!!! Won't be going there ever again. FYI: It was like a meat locker in there. The workers were even wearing coats
I've eaten at Thai food restaurants all over the world and all over the USA. And by far this is the best restaurant I have ever eaten chicken pad Thai or yellow chicken curry. It is quaint they are polite or your courtesy and they treat you like family.Food: 5/5
It's a best kept secret. We had 20-22 folks on a Wednesday. The staff made magic happen! Food was on point! Consistent and served hot! Vegetarian options: We were a mixed group. Take your veggie and gluten-free friends here.
