What an absolutely incredible business!! My mother just moved in to a new home in Boulder and tripped the outside outlet to her patio that was powering her water fountain and her patio lights. She was bummed she wouldn't have things working for her first gathering this coming weekend. We called so many electricians and no one could come help us until NEXT YEAR. The lady that answered the phone walked me through step-by-step on what to look for. She helped me locate the GFCI outlet that was protecting the outside lighting it was in our garage and then reset all our breakers. Most places would have charged my mom $200-$400 dollars for an electrician to come out and literally reset an outlet. Roys spent 20 minutes on the phone walking me through it to help save my mom money and time. I can't thank them enough. Finding a good electrician is a hard thing to do but to find an amazing electrician is even harder. Roy and his wife Kimberly are just that team. They did an installation for me and came back to ensure everything was operating properly. They went far beyond was was expected to complete the project. They are highly skilled and their customer service is second to none. I highly recommend them and thank them for all their hard work.

Roy's responded quickly and even on a weekend when we lost power through the generator transfer switch. Roy and Kimberly personally came up, assessed the problem, did a temporary fix until parts could be ordered and we had our power back! They are very personable, friendly and accommodating. Eric, one of their technicians also did an exceptional job troubleshooting and rewiring a spa filler valve. I highly recommend this small but professional and dependable company!

Roy's Electric came to our house to check out some loose wires. They were super friendly, reasonably-priced, and very professional. When I called, I really appreciated the fact that their company wants to have informed consumers. When they serviced our electrical unit, they showed us how to check for issues in the future and provided some troubleshooting tips. Great work!

Very happy repeat customer! Roy's Electric is a terrific, locally-owned company. They do great work at reasonable prices and with friendly customer service. Eric gave me great advice on how to approach improving the lighting in my garage and suggested a very simple and inexpensive way to meet my needs. When it was time to do the job, he figured out a way to do it that was even better than what was initially planned. Very happy!

I had a voltage issue at my home two days ago. Without going into crazy detail, it was kind of bananas behavior I was observing with lights dimming and getting brighter and some lights just flashing on and off all together. A surge protector that connects the entertainment devices got smoked and I did not notice where the smell was coming from. I thought it was my sub-panel. SO, I called Roy's and spoke with Kim on the phone. She was very sweat and helpful, even understanding where my home is located and planning ahead to ensure their Serviceman would have the correct spare parts in his truck, since it is a good hour round trip to Home Depot from here. I described my issues to the best of my ability and explained that I needed same day service. I called at 9AM, she asked if I could wait until Noon for her guy to finish his morning's work. I was excited that the answer was a yes and only 3 hours away. A little before Noon, Eric called my cell and said that his Job in Superior took slightly longer than expected and was on his way to my home. He got to the house about 1PM, which is normal for the world of contractors and home-builders. They are people too, and i just hope Eric stopped to get some lunch on his way. That aside, Eric was very professional and went through my home systematically all the way to the meter box. He quickly determined that the issue was coming from upstream and I would have to call Excel. After that he then answered my many questions and stuck around to explain to Excel what he had found. When Excel asked about the urgency, Eric jumped in and said, "it's his whole house, they have no water." The Excel dispatcher ensured us that someone would here there that same day. In the end, it was just a service call for Roy's Electric and the power company did almost all the work, but it was Roy's guy Eric who explained and showed everything I needed. Good people, and will recommend and use again when the time comes.

I can't thank Roy's Electric enough for their exceptional customer service. I ordered a ceiling fan for a rental property that needed to be installed on a 20 foot ceiling. A few days after the installation - the ceiling fan suddenly stopped working and Roy's found time during the busiest time of year to come over and look at the fan for my tenants only to find that the motor was no good just days after purchase. Roy's offered to come over and replace the fan without hesitation or charge and even guided me through the return process at HomeDepot. I will continue to use Roy's going forward and would whole heatedly recommend their services to friends in the area. Thank you Roy's for an exceptional customer service experience!!

I called to schedule a repair for some broken exterior outlets.Kimberly, the woman who answered the phone was so friendly and helpful. She suggested that I check for tripped GFI outlets around the house before they come out to do a repair. She said this is a common occurrence and that she would hate to see me spend money for something that is as simple as pushing a button. Turns out she was absolutely correct! Thanks for saving me some time and money Kimberly. I haven't had a chance to use Roy's services yet but I will definitely be calling them again if I ever need to!
