Great food, great place! The sauce actually tasted like they did more than cook some tomatoes and salt. Rare these days. I had the "Taste of Rovalis" to get a sense of the flavors and everything was cooked really well, tasted great, and was actually filling. Cheese bread was great too, salad was great and had pretty good ceasar dressing on it. The waiter was on top of things, very polite, helpful, and wasn't trying to rush us out like some other places. Overall a great experience especially for never having shown up in our restaurant searches. For some reason you have to zoom all the way into the Google maps for it to pop up.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Mozzarella sticks were delicious and Meatball Parmesan was pretty good. The sauce was quite sweet for my taste but not enough that I wouldn't eat it.
Me and my girlfriend tried Rovali's for the first time today. We arrived around 4pm and were immediately seated. The service was great and the waitress did an excellent job of checking in on us. However, we were not impressed by the food. First, the price was very high for what you get. We spent about $60 inc. tip for two entrees, and two drinks one alcoholic. We didn't get any appetizers. Unfortunately, the price wasn't the only issue. The quality of the food was just poor. It was nothing special. Pretty bland to be honest. Finally, the portion sizes were incredibly small for the price and quality. Ultimately, we won't be returning. The meal was worth half of what we paid for it.
Food was gross. Waitress messed up my drink order. Salad dressing and then my entree was piled high with mushrooms when I said NO mushrooms. An hour wait to get seated. 30 minutes to get drinks. 30 more minutes to get food on the table. 2 bites of the food and 5 minutes later, I was ready to bail out of there. Took my 50 dollar dinner home to give a "treat" to my dogs and even they passed on it. 1 star is just being generous and the girl sitting across from me had the nicest set of ....
The food was amazing! We did online order and to pick it up, they were quick and accurate and they brought the food to us! We didn't have to go in. It was nice, you would send a message when you arrived and it would update you if they were still preparing your food or bringing it out. Great system. The food was packed perfectly as well.Dine in: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
First things first, my wife and I were too excited about the food and forgot to take a picture until after we sampled everything. Lol Everything was delicious and our waitress was phenomenal! As this was our first time at Rivali's, she was extremely helpful. We got fried zucchini, lasagna, and the Rivali's tour. While our main meals were light on protein, our waitress suggested we add a meatball to each of our meals. Wow. The meatballs stole the show. We will absolutely be coming back.
Stopped to eat on our way to SLC. Great staff. Nice vibe. Good food. Owner sat us and told us a joke. Things are homemade. We were there close to close and didn't feel rushed. Our waitress was amazing. Highly recommend.
Best pizza I've had in a long time. It was very filling and it tasted like each of the ingredients must have been expensive and yet it was still competitive pricing. The salad was very fresh. The service was phenomenal, and the owner greeted us personally
Pictured is the Seafood Alfredo from Rovalis. They call it their “Crown Jewel” or some such nonsense. Pick up a random canned Alfredo sauce at the grocery store, and it will have better flavor than the Alfredo sauce from Rovalis. Also the scallops were tiny and didn’t have a great texture or flavor. The shrimp was also tiny but the flavor and texture of those was at least decent. The bread roll that comes with the entree was good, but that’s really the only positive I could say about the food I ordered. That’s certainly not enough to get this meal more than 1 star. I could have prepared this better with store bought Alfredo sauce and frozen scallops and shrimp. Would have saved me a lot of money, too.
My family of 6 ate here on a Saturday afternoon right before the Christmas parade. It was about 3:30pm and let me say this was by far the WORST place we've eaten at. We were seated immediately and warmly, however that is where the good ended. Our serve never gave us his name and was cold and aloof. We had questions about the menu and his answers were short and unclear. Having never been here before we asked what the portion sizes were like. We were told that they were fairly large and shareable. Two of my teen daughters are small and have smaller appetites so they both ordered the alfredo from the children's menu. My other two teens ordered the lasagna with a salad and the fettuccini alfredo with soup minestrone, my husband got the chicken parmesan with a side of fettuccini alfredo, and I ordered the Tour of Rovali fettuccini alfredo, lasagna, and ravioli with a soup. Our server was no help with recommending a wine to pair with our meal so we ordered none. The salads were basic iceberg bagged salad and there was no difference between the Italian or Cesear dressings other than adding a wedge of lemon to the Cesear. The soup was a tiny serving of possibly 3-4 ozs and lukewarm at best. It was also poor quality. I've had better from a canned soup. When the food came out it was all cool to lukewarm none of it was hot. The lasagna was disgusting and inedible the fettuccini was passible but inconsistent in the three different ones. All in all it was not worth the $100 we spent. We would have done better to go and eat somewhere else.
