Welcome to the Official Route No. 73 Brew & Chew Facebook Page!
Growing up in the area my whole life, I always wanted a place where I could get an outstanding burger & a great beer. As a new bar and restaurant owner, that’s exactly what my focus is here at the Brew & Chew. Recently Voted #1 Best Beef Burger in the state by the Illinois Beef Association, we offer many signature burgers made from locally raised beef and the finest ingredients. Besides Juicy Burgers we also have daily specials that stand on their own, like our famous California Street Tacos that were featured on "where the locals eat on WREX TV 13 News" we also have our All You Can Eat Fish Fry on Friday's, Hand Cut Ribeye, N.Y. Strip, & Roasted Prime Rib dinners on Saturday' as well as the best selection of craft beers both local and from around the world. Ok so I'm not sure what to think.  Website says that prime rib dinner on Saturday starts at 5. So a me and 3 other people went there last night for the prime rib we arrived around 550. Waitress was very nice and helpful but they were out of prime rib..... how is this possible that you ran out only 50 minutes after you started serving it??? I did look around after we were told that you had run out and to my surprise I did not see one person eating prime rib. There burgers must be good cuz they looked good and that's what I seen everyone eating. So we had just ordered a drink and went some where else for some prime.  I will return but will there at 5 next time hopefully they will have some prime rib next time

Had the steak tacos 3 for around $8.  Best taco I have ate anywhere around the area. Made a little different, but that's what was great.  I'M  going to try all the different tacos.

First time here and the prime rib was awesome the fries were very oily. Cool staff very responsive to their customers needs they made a specialty drink by request  (blue Hawaiian) which was very good as well. The prime rib had very little fat we had the king prime ribs. Very relaxing place. Looking forward to coming again

Really wasn't too thrilled about their tacos I ordered steak got like four small cubes with coleslaw added not what I expected for a taco paid 36$ for 6 tacos and a mixed full order of onion rings fries and cheese nuggets I think( not sure there was no cheese in them). Tried their Wildcat Burger wasn't what I expected I heard they were large orders and expected more for the price. So I gave him a third try and ordered their huge pork sandwich, not so huge.
