Route 99 Diner

absolutely amazing food, I got the clubhouse sandwich and fries, my hubby got the cheeseburger. Both meals came out within 10 minutes of ordering and they were fresh and hot. The iced tea is great, and the servers are so friendly. Would absolutely come here again and HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Amazing amazing amazing.

What a great place. I really enjoyed our waitress. She was salty and friendly. She made a good recommendation and was on top of everything. The food, well, it was some of the best onion rings I have had in years. Perfection. The Rueben was adequate. My friends burger looked good and he said it was fantastic. The place is full of character and if you are searching for a diner fix, this is one of the best options I have found in Edmonton. I would not hesitate to go back here.

Great atmosphere and very friendly service! Good menu selection. Shady outdoor seating during warmer season. Good prices. Smallish parking lot. Free street parking on adjacent side streets.

Been driving past this place for years and finally decided to stop in as I had my folks with me. Parking lot is small, holds about 12 to 15 spots but lots of street parking is available. Love the sign and paintings on the windows. Inside the walls are covered with retro record covers, signs, an intersection light and many other really cool and unique items. Just walk in as the sign says and find a table that is sanitized. My Dad ordered their Rueben Sanwich with spicy mustard and fries, my Mom got their Greek Omelette which came with homemade hasbrowns and toast, while I picked their Eggs Benedict which also came with hasbrowns. Server asked if I had been there before and I said I hadn't, so she let me taste test their Benedict sauce as it's a little bit different. Got a small cup of it and loved the taste. My Mom is GF, so she could not have their toast but the server said you can bring in your own GF bread and they will toast it for your meal next time. We had coffee and tea while we waited and the food was brought out within 10 minutes. It was all very tasty and my Dad said the spicy mustard helped clean out his sinuses! Looking forward to going back and trying more on their menu. Vegetarian options: Their Greek Omelette is a great option. Kid-friendliness: Fun place for kids so long as they remain in their booth. Parking: Parking lot is small but holds about 12 to 15 spots. Little hole in the wall out of the way place with down home cooking and a family friendly atmosphere! You can spend your time looking at all the decor on the walls while you wait for your food. Plenty to look at. We ordered a banana and strawberry shake. We also had the farmers breakfast and a Mushroom Swiss burger combo. The burger was juicy and just the right amount of bun to meat. Dripped all the Condiments everywhere but so worth it for the taste. The farmers breakfast is for the hungry! Three eggs any way you want, a mountain of shredded crispy hashbrowns with Ham and Sausages, a couple pieces of toast and a large Pancake on the side. All the food was amazing. Felt just like mom used to make!

Awesome brunch!!! Have been eat there for over 10 years, lots of selection and reasonable price. Love the vibe in the resturant.

Been visiting here for years. First time back in awhile and it's the same great atmosphere, value, quality and friendly service it's always been. Always leave satisfied. My favorite diner.

Route 99 Diner is such a great place to grab breakfast! The interior gives off old school vibes and menu is extensive! I ordered the Farmer’s Breakfast! It was HUGE. Came with 3 eggs, sausages, bacon, toast and a large pancake! Definitely conquered my hunger after eating it. Coming here again soon, Route 99 is unmatched! Additionally, Donna was a great server!

It is that old fashioned diner with really great food. Had a good breakfast and time to chat with friends.

Went for the first time with friends and was greeted by a 50s style classic diner with records on the wall, weathered leather seats, and the feeling of being sent back in time. I was genuinely surprised to find some Mediterranean twists in the menu too! A surprising little gem hidden in the heart of an old neighborhood. Parking: Parking is a bit limited, but not a problem.
