I stopped for breakfast, it was delicious. Home cooking. This place is full of 50s memorabilia! Took me back to when I was a kid. Real food on real plates! Real enjoyable. I'll be back! Kid-friendliness: Nice old fashioned playground swings and teeter-tooter for the kids.
Upon entry into the parking lot, the old-timey feel is immediate. Vintage cars on display in the grass, assortments of old signs, as well as the color scheme you would expect from a diner in times past. Inside the diner, the walls are covered in vintage metal signs, pictures of famous actors, actresses, and artists of the era. To my surprise, the service was unwelcoming and curt, throwing all expectations as to the atmosphere inside to the wind! As I only have had one meal here, the rating I have given could seem and may be unjust. Unfortunately, the burger also left much to be desired, and the price as well as my hunger could not entice me to finish.
Awesome diner! I love diners and this one was by far one of the best I've been to! 10/10 would go back! If you're just driving through or staying in the area I highly recommend making the stop! Food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was amazing. True home cooked meal feel. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Wheelchair accessibility: Very open space inside with zero steps to get in through the front door
First time stopping in here, but it's certainly not going to be the last. I can't say anything about the burgers, but the pulled pork is fantastic. The others in my party went with the chicken and they found it delicious. Thanks for the wonderful experience. I'll see you again in the future.Food: 5/5
A decent 3 star for a vintage style restaurant.we really like the vibe and all inside and outside exterior. Its not too busy for a fun afternoon for us and for the lady server. Our food was just fine, but we're really hoped for much more better burger plate. Our bill was whopping $42 from 1 burger, 1 pulled pork, bottle water and bottle root beer. Fries was too greasy but were so hungry to ended up eat all of our meals instead of complaining.
Was driving the old 97. What a lovely route to take!! Happened upon this diner! Bunch of people with their classic cars were doing the route for a Sunday drive and had stopped in for burgers. I stopped in for a cone and local honey! Super happy I stumbled across this place. A lot of good vibes! And swell black cherry ice cream!
Wow..this place was amazing. Barb our server was not only incredibly efficient and friendly she was very informative. She was telling us all about the restaurant the ownership thereof and many other bits of information. We stopped in for a bite to eat and she was amazing. The food was very reasonably priced , it was fresh cooked homemade absolutely delicious. I also got a chance to take some amazing photos and I and I am so thankful that Barb took the time to talk to us as the restaurant was getting very busy. It is a delight to see such kindness from people that take the time to cook such delicious down home food. Thank you so much. I can't wait to visit you again. Thank you for giving me a chance to take photos. Please keep doing what you're doing. My family and I truly appreciate you.

Nice spot to stop when travelling between Vernon and Kamloops. Food is good, ambience and nostalia is good, staff was very good. Owner showed us some cars they were working on out back - pretty cool.
