It depends what you are after for this place. Weekend nights you will usually find a decent crowd and live music but drinks are small served in tiny plastic cups and averages $8 a drink. If you're looking for food I recommend the breakfast with all you can eat FREE sweet cream pancakes and freshly made to order traditional breakfast items. I did get charged a $2 upgrade charge for a tiny amount of hashbrowns instead of potatoes of some sort. The food is good. They also have great daily specials and select happy hour specials. My biggest complaint about this place is it is always freezing cold and the smokers that go in and out to the patio don't make it any better. I would not call this place classy in anyway more of a local dive.
It's a fun sports bar to go to. I was here with a couple of girlfriends. They played bingo. And it is no joke. This is a wide spread and serious game. People had lots of fun though. The service was quick and friendly. Food was decent. It was expected for bar food. The food was nothing special or outstanding. I would go here for more of the energy of the community coming together over bingo or a game night.
Stopped by Route 47 on a late Sunday afternoon and place was pretty packed due to a bingo competition. Took our waitress about 10 minutes to find us amongst the bingo players to bring water and menus. Once served the delivery time was adequate. We shared a plate of walleye fingers as our appetizer. Presentation was good and breading on the fish was tasty. Only thing is their fingers lacked walleye and had more meatier ones at other establishments. On the other hand had some of the best broasted chicken around as my entree. Had a two piece dinner withJo-Jo's and cole slaw. Chicken had perfect mix of delicious crispy coating plus juicy and meaty inside. Would definitely come back especially to take a partial bucket of the chicken alone! Good off street parking and handicap access
Great food and great service. The server was awesome and was there when we needed her, never having to wait. Music was a bit loud, so we sat in the dining area. Another great visit on Friday, March 03. Food was awesome and our server was great.
Love this place! Good food and service, great drinks. The live music is always very talented and fun to dance to.Recommended dishesWalleye Fingers
Second time in a month we left before ordering. No wait staff in sight. Bartender was waiting tables. Table we sat down at was dirty, so we moved. That table was dirty too. Another table had the wipe rag left on it - nice. We used to come in all the time and always has great food and service. I know it's hard to get good help, but if this place doesn't get some kind of help quick, I don't think they'll make it much longer. The bar is always full, but the restaurant is large, not sure the bar is enough to keep the whole thing going. They used to have good waitstaff, not sure if they are still there, but even if they are, my guess is that they're overworked, underpaid and sick of it all. The bartender can't possibly do an adequate job at the bar and be expected to wait tables. I hope they are doing anything and everything to get and retain good staff. If not, they may as well throw in the dirty towel.
Great local place. Had a business networking event, and their breakfast buffet was awesome... and included mini donuts! Cannot wait to make this a regular stop. Ratedc4/5 stars on atmosphere because the morning sun is brutal, and they have no window shades.Food: 5/5
Unbelievable lunch! $5 burger with huge plate of hand-cur fries and the burger was great and juicy and fresh! Totally amazed and great attentive service . With drinks it was $17 for 02 out the door, I will be coming here for lunch whenever I am in the area, totally thrilled!!!Recommended dishesBurgers
Service was dismal at best. My wife never got her drink she ordered. The booth was dirty and sticky. The fries were not fresh & not good. They forgot the BBQ sauce on my blah sandwich and the thousand island dressing on my wife's Rachel. My daughter's mini corn dogs were not fresh and not edible. Also the toilet was not bolted to floor in the bathroom. We were very disappointed and will not be back.
Will probably not go back. Been there several times for drinks, and has been "whatever". Went for a birthday dinner, and I'm not giving 1 star because the service absolutely sucked. I would give that another try, but all 3 of the servers in the dinning room area had the absolute worst attitude, and were flat out rude. Had a group of 10 people, and I eat or frequently around the area and there are A LOT of places to go before this place. Also, the wings are not very good either and 0 stars for the cold fries.
