Rothsay Truck Stop & Cafe

I've been stopping here for over 15 years almost on a weekly basis. Mostly breakfast and the noon meal. The # of times I've looked at the menu I can count on 1 hand. Just order 1of the lunch specials, the roast beef or roast pork. They both are the best you will ever find in a little cafe like this.

Great little hidden away place with a wonderful cafe with all home made food. While we were traveling across country this place really saved us a night we just pulled off and had a meal and were able to relax and continue our trip. Will go back. :)

Always good food. Home made pies and rolls. Really good service.

I have had some great food here, but in the last 3 weeks something has changed. Recently taken my GF as well as kids here and I really feel that something isn't being cleaned properly. The only constant is we all get water, use plates for food and silverware. After the last 3 separate visits within 30 mins to an hour we have a huge stomach bug and what comes with that. Dislike posting begative things because you have a great staff with amazing food and until recently I never had this issue.. We just ate there less than an hour ago and my GF and my stomach are already in knots not feeling well. Hope this can get looked into as we will be taking a break from our weekly visits as no one wants to feel what we have been experiencing after eating anywhere. Now I understand there are many factors in what can make you not feel well but seriously everyone in our household, every time we have been here in the last few weeks and nearly immediately after eating means there is an issue.
