The town of Napanee did a great job on this park. It's a wonderful place for the kids to play Not only in summer but all year round. One activity in particular that our grandchildren really enjoyed what's the zip line. They were thrilled 2 zip around the course on this swing like ride. We were there in October, the weather was beautiful. Our grandchildren and I would highly recommend that you check it out.nPaid another visit to the park last weekend with our grandchildren. Still getting lots of use and it is maintained well. Wonderful to see children having fun. Also took a walk down through the park along the water's edge. If you are in the area don't pass up a chance to visit. It is still highly recommended
One of the best parks I have been too! Everything about this park is exciting for wee ones. They renovated the park here about 2 years ago to be honest I cant remember the other park because this one is so epic!nnThey have the kiddy park, that park is geared to the younger guys I'd say 1-6 years of age, it is in the shape of a ship with lots of interactive features including a rope spider web climbing area with wood chips below which I love wood chips on play ground.nnThen they have the big park with the high tower style with two high twirl slides, ladders and rock climbing the whole shebang.nnThey also have interactive things throughout the park including a game which sends you on a scavenger hunt throughout the park.nnOh did you think I was done... nope....nnNow let's head over to the music area, with a few different music objects for the kids to bang away.nnThen we hit what I would call the natural park opstical course with logs and natures products.nnAnd theeennnn......nnThe EPIC roller coaster swing!!! This has got to be the coolest thing I have laid my eyes on! This thing starts on a elevated platform where you sit on the swing and goo! It goes in a roller coaster like fashion in a circle. SUPER COOL!nnNow the only reason I have to give this park a 4 star is because of the matience on the park, I have come many times to things shut down, or the general upkeep a little poor, garbage laying around.nnI would suggest doing something like the center hastings park. They have staff on all day maintaining the park and they offer a canteen area to purchase your foods and drinks, and then an ice cream shop. They also have a skate park for big kids and a smaller bunny park for the little ones, and have a rental area for bikes, scooters, and helmets. It's really genius! They hire the local summer students and create some funding for the park and really make the park somewhere you could pack the kids up in a hurry and still enjoy the day there.nnAnyways I love this park!!!
It was great when we first got there was 2 others family's but they where on different part of the park and then the kids would go in the same thing for a bit then we would move on and that's what the others did as well ,by time we left there was about 5 more family's that came in but we all were able to stay apart well kids still got out side to enjoy them self ,it was the first time in a long time my kids didn't ask if we could go and do something fun ,this day they had the fun they all where missing fir so long
A very fun park. Lots to do and a large play structure for older kids and a smaller one for smaller kiddos. There is a zipline swing that could use some maintenance to get it to go better but overall a great park. Lots of shade and bathrooms to use.
Absolutely an amazing park, lots of bathtooms, right by the water plenty of play activities for kids of all ages. And such a super fun swing! Hands down best park I've been to my son had a blast!
