Words cannot describe the joy I felt when I got here. The historic atmosphere, the beauty of the lake setting, and the setup of the cabins is more welcoming than you could even imagine. The hosts are incredible, by the time we left we were better friends with them than half the people we know back home. The cabins are set up and furnished fantastically, and don't let the trains scare you! They provide earplugs for those with sensitive hearing, and if you're like me, they're fun to hear pass by! We will absolutely be back, and I would recommend this cabin to anyone vacationing in the area. You won't find a better price anywhere else!
I brought my daughter, mom and dog for a fun little vaca before school started. We ALL loved being here. We rented the bigger cabin cabin 12. It had two of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, a nice little kitchen and a cute dinning area in the cabin. We felt so welcomed from the minute we pulled in. Brett and Irina were very welcoming and so kind. My daughter kept saying how fun it was being there and how she can't wait to do it next year. This will become an annual trip for us. We even enjoyed the trains that went by, they were a tad loud at times but it was all part of the experience. We didn't mind it at all. Can't wait to go back!!
Best ever! The cabins were clean and super cozy with a beautiful view. The hosts are so accommodating and friendly. They made us feel right at home. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to stay there.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed here with my boyfriend for a night and loved it. Cabin was absolutely beautiful and cozy. They even had a cabin where you can heat up food and grab any cutlery, plates, cups that you might need. The hospitality was amazing and very accommodating as well. When we arrived, we were met with kindness from Brett, who told us where to go and what we could do. Overall, very peaceful place where you can just take a break from a long drive. Would definitely come here again! :
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at the end of August 2022, and wished we’d booked in longer. The cabins were adorable! The bed was comfortable, and our hosts Brett and Irena were friendly and accommodating. The “community” bbq area was perfect for making dinner, and we were surprised to learn that our hosts would look after our dirty dishes Wifi was available, and it was so nice to have a couple of nights away from the highway noise. Note: there are a few trains that pass by during the day/night, and our thoughtful hosts supplied earplugs just in case! Can’t wait to rebook next summer!
The place was so cozy and spectacular view. Hosts were so accommodating. If we could of, we would have stayed longer. Highly recommend to stay there. You can bring your own food and cooking facilities are there. They have a utility cabin for plates, cutlery, microwave ect. Best sleep ever. Beds super comfortable, with own bathroom and showers.enjoyed so much.
What’s not to like! Lovely, clean cabins with bar fridge, private WC and shower, and comfy bed. Bring your dinner for the BBQ and check out the community cabin for supplies: cutlery, dishes, spices, coffee fixings, a large fridge with plenty of ice and even laundry facilities. Have a fire and chat with the neighbours, wood and chiminea provided. Loved the train and dog friendly atmosphere, and the hosts are great; always looking to make your stay relaxed and enjoyable, and they're super helpful with local sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. We used this location as a base for day-trips to local parks for hiking. Looking forward to returning to do some more exploring. Thanks for everything.
Cute and comfy little cabins on the shores of Lake Superior. View was spectacular. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. All the supplies you need were provided along with access to lots of seating, picnic tables and BBQ. The passing trains were a fun addition. Very good value, perfect for a couple and their dog no dog charge
A lovely place for the night! The cabins are really cute and cozy. It‘s also nice that you can watch the train passing by out of your windows. Would have loved to stay longer!
We loved our two night stay there! The cabins are well equipped and clean and the location is great despite the train tracks! Rossport is beautiful and these cabins were great.Rooms: 5/5
