I love myself a diner, and this was a nice cozy one. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Never felt like I went without what I needed. Four out of Five stars on the food, and honestly I think that it's just a personal thing for me. No matter how long I live in the PNW I don't think I'll ever get used to the Northern version of Chicken Fried Steak. But it tasted pretty good for being that. The gravy had a lot of flavor. The Hash browns were good, a little soft but you could always order them a little extra crispy I'm sure. The Biscuit was a little dry.
The food and the service was fantastic. It took a while to get food , but I think kitchen was short staffed, and it was fairly busy. Our waitress was AMAZING she not only took great care of us and all her tables, she also went back and helped the kitchen a few times
It's okay. The service was good considering the lack of staff they're currently experiencing. The food though, was... Really sub par even for a diner. I was expecting a bit better because of the reviews. The burger was actually pretty good but the biscuits and gravy as well as the scramble were unfortunately flavorless. Their bathroom was also... Scary. I don't know, as a summary I'd say you could either do it or not. You're not missing or gaining either way.
This was my first visit to Rosie's. The flies roaming in the place was not good/very annoying. If you take pride in where you work try& make an attempt whenever possible& rid of flying insects: not good4business. The groul i was with patrons such place often. Sandy was our waitress. Suggestion: when you're speaking to customers serving or assisting, you may try&prevent not to stand&talk over someone's head/ customerbetter yet, step to the side of individual you speaking with. Shows you are caring& a good waitress instead of being rude&just plain rude! My canned beef vegetable soup was ok. Waited to make payment as other/waitresses/ women walked by yet could of assisted but that's ok. This is why I post4 there is always room4 improvement. Enjoy the pictures
I think the food and service was ok. But the portions are minimal. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak breakfast and can tell you it was small. I try the same dish every where I go and was not impressed with Rosie's version. Service was good but it took longer to get my meal than the average restaurant. And it Just wasn't worth the bill. Too high, even for these times. My overall score is 3 stars.
Rosie's has been around for 38 years! Quality food and reasonably priced. I can't remember the last time an owner walked around and thanked customers. It's a testament to the old-school values that have made this place stand the test of time. The artwork and paintings by Rosie, herself, are worth the visit, but stay for the food!Food: 4/5
Nice little restaurant we like to stop at for breakfast. I have yet to have my eggs cooked the way I ask, but they're the only place that takes a crispy bacon request seriously. Staff is super sweet and service is fast.Food: 4/5
If you want to know what America was like 50-60 years ago, stop here and sit a spell. If you have a moment to talk with Rosie, your life will be enriched. The food is exactly what you sould expect from a good dinner. The cooks are very good, fast and occasionally onrey with the waitresses. Fun to watch is an understatement. The waitstaff are friendly and very approachable. Woodland is a great stop for this alone.
This was a great stop for lunch! Very relaxing atmosphere. Very friendly service. Ample parking. Delicious food all around! We were surprisingly greeted by Rosie herself! What a wonderfully interesting, Sweet and dedicated woman! We had a great time. We will be coming back. Parking: Ample free parking
My husband had the peanut butter shake and drank it all. Almost had to roll him out of there. Best burgers ever. Love the staff. So pleasant.
