Carvel Ice cream doesn't disappoint. The soft serve is thick and is a tier above anything else. As much as I do enjoy Carvel, it's a treat reserved for once in a while because it's fairly pricey. $4.35 for a small plain vanilla... yikes.
Super Rude employee on Saturday evening. We were the only ones there and it took her a good 5–10min for her to even acknowledge us. Prices are ridiculous and the place is dirty. The chairs and tables inside look like they been wiped down with a dirty wash cloth. The owners should be embarrassed.
this is the worst store. i called to confirm my cake was ready and correct and the man was so rude the cake was time. the store is filthy. next time go to dairy quenn
My wife went in to purchase a cake for our sons birthday, the man behind the counter was on the phone and did a great job of ignoring us. After a few minutes he finally acknowledged us and said it would be a while before we would get served, I would like to point out we were the only people in the store. He seemed shocked when we said we were leaving. Walked out with our cake, you may have a great product but customer service is everything. Will be a long time if ever before I go back.
I’m from out of town they don’t have Carvel but when I come here I always come here! I love their soft serve with sprinkles. Good quality ice cream. Service was good also. We went on Wednesdays it was buy one Sunday get one free. Score!
Store closes at 9, so we stopped by after a fun evening at bounce. Arrived at 8:50 and were advised that even though all the lights were on, and the open sign was lit; all machines had been shut down and we couldn’t get ice cream. Had two disappointed kids!!
I just called and the staff were extremely rude on the phone. They couldn’t answer a simple question without giving extreme attitude. This was only a half hour after they opened as well. So it wasn’t like they had a long stressful day. They seem like they really hate their lives and jobs and have horrible customer service
They do not wear gloves. The girls are scratching their hair and handling your food. They handed me my spoon holding the part I put in my mouth with their bare hands. Another time they put my spoon on the dirty counter. The utensils are not individually wrapped, just in a drawer. I had to tell an employee to wash her hands when she started her shift. All of this happened at the one on Vassar Rd.
Horrible. We came on a Sunday, 4/25/21 at around 5:30. Person behind the counter was clearly in a rush and didn’t want to be there. Ordered two Carvelanches which were pathetically made. The small wasn’t even filled 3/4 of the way and the large was filled with what looks like was a small. When questioned about the size, we were told, “all of them have the same amount of ice cream.” So why am I paying for a large when a small has the same amount of ice cream? Literally ended our Sunday sadly because we were excited for ice cream. Worse carvel ever. Won’t be coming here again. I’d leave no stars if I could.
2020... On November 12th at around 7:25pm, I received excellent customer service from an amazing employee. I don't know her name but it's clear that she knows how to do her job very well. She was very polite, effective and efficient. I'll definitely do repeat business with this location.
