I can’t recommend this place enough for all occasions, there are lots of places in the shade for a wonderful picnic and gorgeous gardens all around. It’s perfect even for wedding photos along the arches at the lower garden.
Beautiful flowers that are even in this such chilled mornings 1 - 5°C conditions are still in full blooming.
The rose garden is beautiful with many kinds of roses and other flowers. We went there in the spring and found a great number of cherry trees which were bore beautifully blossoms. The park has good walking trails and many benches to sit and enjoy the garden.
The rose garden is just beautiful and still blooming in October.
Didn't stay long, mostly just went for the aquarium but a bunch of the exhibits are closed so if you like looking at large ships out in the ocean then the loop around the "island " is still pretty neat :

Beautiful and well maintained rose garden. Well worth the visit. Plenty of other flowers also. Benches and gras to sit for a picknick or just relax.
