Great Coffee and interesting selection of unique ingredients downstairs. Upstairs has every possible thing you could want in your dream kitchen. A wonderful place for purchasing kitchen tools cook books, knives, bakeware and more. Great for gift giving!
One of the best restaurant stores around. It’s always on my itinerary when visiting coastal Maine. I could spend hours there browsing. My only problem is trying to narrow down my final choices before making my way to the cash!
I love going here, a decent selection of kitchenware as well as really nice fresh baked goods, sandwiches, coffee. I haven't bought from the deli counter, but it looks great. The choices of teas and Europeans treats and international ingredients is always so fun to pick from. You won't leave Rooster Brother disappointed, except for maybe in yourself for spending your whole paycheck.
A fantastic kitchen store! Rooster Brothers seems to be well stocked with all necessary kitchen equipment and utensils and a variety of beautiful accessories as well. They roast their own coffee brand on premise, it's amazing. There is a small but delicious variety of deli items and sometimes sandwiches etc. I have been there many times over the years. Whenever I go I find something I can't possibly live without.

The products in the store are first-class. My qualm is with the service, which is routed in euro-centric elitism. What this store could use more of is humility and grace. The proposed sophistication would be fine if it extended past the front counter. Instead customers who spend their hard earned money are rewarded with sarcasm and othering for not understanding the deep intricacies that come with working in a fine cookware store.
No stranger to this place! Love this store , but had to give only three stars as it's surely not for ordinary folk on a budget for sure ! I wanted to buy a LOT , LOL ! My fiance wasn't impressed with the prices, though I explained to him it's like shopping for any hobby .....it's always way too expensive , but you absolutely know you're investing in good quality items and if you're not happy they'll let you return the item usually . So if you love to cook and need for example a new fry pan you best be saving your pennies ! OUCH !!!! It would be nice to see a clearance and / or sale isle or two for those going through some harder times these days ... we like to cook etc. Too !! The only other thing I pick up on every time I've come in , is when I have a question . I know they're all busy, but for some reason there's a sense of snobbery with the ladies working behind the register and they can sound a bit gruff / impatient at times which makes me and any other customer very uncomfortable . So hope that changes as I try not to interrupt when other customers are being tended to and I sometimes have felt their idle chit chat amongst themselves is more important than the customer standing there waiting to be acknowledged, as I've also observed . On the whole , its a beautiful store , always has been since shopping there throughput the years when I use to live in Ellsworth . But living so far now , it was rather disappointing not getting what we'd set out to get because prices were so high .
