So so thankful that we were able to get into the Ronald McDonald House when we had to be in Edmonton for our baby's surgery/hospital stay. If we had to be in a hotel or air bnb we would have been completely ruined financially by the time we went back to our home city. The staff here were kind and helpful. Our private room was decent enough and had a crib we used for our toddler. The nursing/pumping rooms were beautiful and peaceful with large fridge/freezer for storing breastmilk. Snacks and meals available quite often was really helpful. Sometimes there were challenges being in a shared space with some of the other people but the staff, volunteers and the house itself were great.
This place was life changing for us during one of the hardest times of our lives. They are very kind and compassionate. Every part of the experience here was stress free which is so important when dealing with hard times. Our family loved staying here!

Thank you RMHC. We just had our little guy go through open heart surgery. We stayed there 8 nights. I can't say enough thank you to the staff and volunteers you all are amazing.
To be honest I wasn't to be let in because you have to make an appointment first and I didn't realize this but it makes sense now ... And considering I looked smelled and gave the vibe of a homeless person on drugs I don't blame them at all 100% was true but not anymore ... All the way up!
