This place was life changing for us during one of the hardest times of our lives. They are very kind and compassionate. Every part of the experience here was stress free which is so important when dealing with hard times. Our family loved staying here!
To be honest I wasn't to be let in because you have to make an appointment first and I didn't realize this but it makes sense now ... And considering I looked smelled and gave the vibe of a homeless person on drugs I don't blame them at all 100% was true but not anymore ... All the way up!
We had an extended stay at the stollery for our little one. The hospital got us setup with them, it was a few days in our stay we got a room but once we did it was a sure relief, place to go to catch up on sleep / shower or just to relax.nnSaved us from spend a lot on a nearing hotel.
My wife and I truly love this place! We live three hours away from the Stollery Children’s Hospital, and this place became our home for almost a week while our baby was in the NICU. The staff are amazing, and all the accommodations and amenities are accessible to everyone. We're very grateful to our social worker for helping us have this experience.
I cannot express how incredible this facility is. I had the opportunity to volunteer through ABLE networking and the experience was so humbling. Tonight I will be holding my babies tighter.nnAnyone who can donate individual packaged snacks, new in package toys or your time. This facility supports families of children who are very sick and unable to stay at home while their child is in the hospital.
