Everyone in this place is very friendly. Love the Janis Joplin memorabilia displayed inside. The hot ham and cheese sandwich is yummy! Good old fashioned home cooked diner food is what you'll find here.
Nice diner. Breakfast was great, service was fast, our waitress was very nice. Homemade toast was amazing! Good place to stop on the way.
Had baked chicken dinner. Chicken was good, baked potato. Canned cranberry sauce I can tolerate, same goes for the frozen vegetables. But iced tea from a mix is more than I can bear. Waitress rushed me and brought the check without offering me dessert, I asked anyway and got banana cream pie which was good.
Only place we could find to eat in Plainfield, but we were pleasantly surprised. Loved the pecan waffle!!! Great service too.
Waiters were very nice and service was very fast! It only took 10 minutes to get our food. Would definitely recommend when at Plainfield!!!
Had an awesome breakfast this morning
Absolutely delicious!!! I had a steak dinner, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much from a "diner" type place, but it was so very good, I ATE IT ALL!!!!! And their mushroom soup... I seriously regret not getting a gallon to take home! The wait staff was also fast and courteous and helped me with some recommendations!
Honestly, I love the food and atmosphere here, but if you work for a living, dont plan on ever tasting a bite. They are NEVER OPEN. Maybe like 4 hours a day. How does this business survive in such a small town?
food is always good here. look for the daily specials and the bread bakery & pies are homemade.
We arrived just before closing time and still served us great food. Thanks so much.
