Ist time at Ron's and had the Best Fries ever. Burger was good and the Strawberry Shake was yummy! I was the last customer of the night and the crew were absolutely delightful and very helpful and did rush me. Hope the fish and chips are as good it will be my next meal there in a few weeks!
Nope. Service was meh. The fish came without tartar sauce. What?!? Fundamental service flaw when the sign says included. No ketchup. The burger was small. Overall Husband said pretty good. Which is him saying meh. Not a win. Better options.
This was my first time eating at Ron's and it will be my last...I ordered the fish and chips paid $9.99 and got 4 pieces 2"x2" pieces, which tasted like they'd been in the freezer for days before being fried. The "chips" were not freshly cooked and barely warm. I only ate 2 of the fish and gave the rest to my dog. Sorry Ron, but this wasn't good AT ALL.
Compared to “Five Guys”? Ron’s single patty bacon cheese burger slam dunked Five Guys double. This is one BBQ where size didn’t matter. Update: Nov 16 2020 - It’s been a few years since I ordered the bacon cheese burger. It wasn’t good. I ordered a large fry and it was ok - but did not taste fresh. I’m dropping my five stars down to four, and I don’t know if I’ll make the effort to find them the next time I am in town. The magic is gone.
Oh, so sad! The last few times we’ve been it’s gone a little more downhill. Tonight we paid $51 for dry chicken strips and Big R, floppy fries, and overcooked fish. The fish could have been delish, they were beautiful cuts, but sooooo, so dry And chewy. My 83 year old father was the only one who didn’t have a complaint about his BLT. Prices are increasing everywhere and dining out/drive thru is a luxury. Please don’t let this be what we waste our money on. I want to support local!!
I'm not from Spokane but was in town for lunch, I stopped here because I wanted burger from a local restaurant. I'm glad I found Ron's because it was just what I was looking for. My burger was fantastic, the large french fry was plentiful and delicious, topped it off with a strawberry shake. Everything was perfect. The employees were great too. I will stop in again next time. Thank you!
It appears the owner only responds to positive feedback here, so this will be for the unsuspecting public. I don't take photos of my food, but I probably should have. My "Super" burger was just a "simple" cheeseburger. Absolutely nothing special about anything at this burger joint. The fries were hot, but I was the only person there at 8pm on a Thursday, I expected them to be hot. My burger was practically raw. The edges were pink, and the middle was not even close to being cooked or even at a safe temperature to be eaten. When I took the burger back to the counter and informed the young man that it was not cooked enough for me, he actually asked me if I wanted another one? I haven't been here in 12+ years. The food is the same today as it was then, nothing special. I expected a good old fashioned cheeseburger, but it really wasn't. At least the counter person didn't stick their hand inside my drink cup this time. All these people leaving reviews and talking about the days gone by and how this place hasn't changed and all the comments about retro... smh. There's nothing retro here except a few old photographs from the early years. The food burgers are only mediocre at best. The fries were ok as was the tarter sauce. Restroom could use a paint job. The graffiti is everywhere. No excuses for lack of employees. There were 3 people working and I was the only customer. I'll likely never step foot in here again, unless it's to try a shake, but Zip's makes a perfectly great chocolate shake! Prices here are much lower than Wendy's, I had the 'large' which only means more fries and a larger drink. I usually get a regular-size meal at Wendy's, which costs $15.00, while the large at Ron's was $12.00. So all these people complaining about price are totally ignorant.
Well this place was recommended to have great burgers and boy were they right!! The burgers were delicious and juicy! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a tasty burger!
Over greasy I even ordered an ice cream for my kid I appreciate and ice cream was yellow when it was supposed to be vanilla. And my child tasted the ice cream and it tasted sour. Thank you so they gave my child sour milk ice cream in a cone. We will never be eating at this disgusting restaurant again in my life if I could give it a zero I so would... Totally needs to be shut down and have the health department involved.
Took a very long time to get the milkshakes that we ordered. We sat and waited for over 45 mins for them to be made. The restrooms are on the outside of the building and you have to use a code to get in. Restrooms looked like no one had cleaned them ever.Food: 2/5
