Susan was a phenomenal waitress. She works hard and always had a smile. She was so friendly to the child that was with us and paid attention to see to it that she was happy, brought her a princess coloring book to use. So kind. The food is great. What you’d hope to expect from a Midwest, local cafe. The portions were large. The flavors were tasty. Best crispy hash browns. Service wasn’t only friendly but fast too. We will visit again when we are in the area. Thanks Roman for making us a great meal!
Street parking. Usually busy. Good breakfasts. Great service and prices. Been here many times. Coffee very good-always kept full. Lots of old Hollywood pictures on the walls. There’re looking for a new location.
Ordered an omelet and pancakes from here. I'm not usually a pancake person but decided to give them a try and I have to say, they were great! In terms of size the pancake was quite large which is great if youre really hungry or have kids to feed. The omelet was also pretty big and packed with flavor. Just on flavor of the food alone this place deserves the 5 stars but in portion size and overall quality it would have to be a 10 for me.
We had a fabulous breakfast here! Friendly, attentive wait staff, fun people watching, wonderful, classic diner breakfast food. Everything was hot, cooked well, and delicious. I highly recommend the pancakes- the best I’ve eaten in a long time! We will be back if we come through town again.
Fantastic breakfast. Steak & eggs, steak was perfect, eggs were perfect, hash browns extra crispy as ordered. Restaurant is fantastically clean. Pleasant waitstaff but not aware that they were out of some things. Low end tea bags.Food: 5/5
Roman's is a great hole-in-the-wall Cafe where friendly local people know the staff and everyone is polite. Staff is very attentive and conversational. Food is comforting and awesome. Small.location, so you may have to wait a few minutes, but definitely worth the wait. We will be back! Parking: Parking is available on the street out front.
We found a new family favorite for breakfast. Great diner food. Plenty to eat with friendly staff. They actually made the hashbrowns crispy. Which is crazy because so many places seem to have no idea how to actually cook hashbrowns. Gotta love it. Love Roman's! We drive all the way from Rosemount because it seems that if you go south of the cities no one can cook and the only spices they know are salt and pepper...
Cozy little dinner open for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was amazing. I had the chill omelet delicious! My friend had eggs Benedict and the hollandaise was on the side not drowning in it. big win coffee was hot and waitress kept it coming. Will definitely return.Food: 5/5
The staff was very kind and helpful. The food had that nice home made feel to it. I would recommend getting breakfast here if you're in the area. Had the steak and eggs which came with hashbrowns or fries and a pancake!Food: 4/5
Morning hours, closes at 12 noon, dine in & take out & curbside pickup. Known for their breakfasts. Good sized portions. Good portions at fair prices. It's unfortunate that Roman's closes at noon. You can have breakfast & lunch there but not supper It's closed by supper time. Their breakfast ""The Big Johnson"" can feed 2 people.
