After a week in Canada we had the best service at La Roma. Our server Holly, the bussers/food runners, and the bartender were all so nice and anticipated our needs. They split our appetizer and even our after dinner drinks without us asking. Each course was delicious, especially the handmade pastas! We also enjoyed a half-off bottle of wine that they offer on Tuesdays. The atmosphere was cozy and chic, exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend!
We had an amazing experience here. The staff were very friendly and treated us to an unforgettable anniversary dinner. Our favourite dish was the lobster ravioli! I highly reccomend anyone come here for high quality food and a warm welcoming atmosphere!
All pasta made in house. The service was wonderful, food was expensive but delicious. A lot of natural light coming in through beautiful large windows. Everyone at my table was thoroughly satisfied. A memorable meal and dining experience. Highly recommend. #localguide
We had a great experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. The zucchini fritters were amazing, with a very nice and creamy sauce. The fazzoletti were to die for. Homemade pasta, stuffed with ricotta and spinach, and with parmigiano and mozzarella cheese with a tomato sauce. The cannolis were simply a taste of heaven, and the tiramisu was good too. Overall, the food was very very good. However, the ambiance and atmosphere were not to our liking. It was extremely loud inside, to the point you had to shout to hear the person across the table. It was also very very cold inside, colder than outside. In addition to that, our original outside table was not covered and it started raining, so we had to move in. The bathrooms were not very nice either. It was very cold and they smelled like urine.
We passed by this place during the Italian festival, and they were kind enough to fit us in as walk ins. They had a modified menu for the Italian festival. We had the ceaser salad, zucchini fries and calamari for starters and they were all very good. When it came to mains our server got things mixed up, so there was a bit of a delay but even the dishes weren’t as good. The pesto cream pasta was pretty oily and to be honest couldn’t taste the cream it was mainly pesto! Our server after the mix up not sure why she was upset never offered us parmesan chess we had to ask for it and we felt wasn’t as nice! We had to ask another waiter to pass us some salt and pepper! Pizza was ok.
Amazing experience. Our waitress was Tessa and she was fantastic. She was so kind and made the night so much better with her great energy! Truly went above and beyond for us. Food was very delicious, we left feeling very full. Interior was very nicely set up, very cozy vibes. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an elegant date night on Preston street.
Fantastic spot with delicious food! We were a larger group and our waitress was super kind and the food came out super quickly. I enjoyed the burrata appetizer with a friend truthfully it could have served 3-4 people with a few bites each if you wanted as well. I also had the seafood pasta which was FULL of seafood, lots of scallops, shrimp, clams and crab meat. I was super impressed and I'll definitely be back!
Had a staff holiday party - absolutely fabulous service. We had two ladies that took exceptional care of us - over 20 people. The restaurant was so accommodating on all allergies, drinks, etc. Great service, great food and great ambiance - the upstairs dining was private and quaint. Everyone really enjoyed their meals.
Amazing! The food was fantastic, super tasty. The ambience of the restaurant is great, not too noisy. Good spacing between tables. Would highly recommend checking this place out if you are in little Italy! A bit expensive, but worth it!
Great service. But the food was just okay. The gnocchi I had was very bland.
