We went to the Rock Orchestra by Candlelight concert tonight. Good show. The venue is always clean and staff very helpful.
Always enjoy going to this cozy stadium. My issue first a for most 48$ for 5 water & 2 popcorn is wild. That I can’t stress enough needs to be addressed. I know this is par for the course this day and age for stadiums but please Slush Puppie Place be the one stadium that can truly make it more affordable for family’s to enjoy a show and snacks without dipping into their child’s university funds. You know you have the power to do this and still pull a profit .
The AC here is excellent, which makes watching a game very comfortable, especially on hot days. The arena is well maintained and clean, and the staff are always kind and professional, which really adds to the experience. The only drawback is that the seating feels quite small and close together, so it can get a bit cramped during busy events. Overall, though, it’s a solid venue with great atmosphere, friendly service, and everything kept in good shape.
Had a great experience watching a Frontenac game. Didn’t realize until after we got there that we could buy standing tickets which would have been much better with a toddler.
My husband and I stopped in Kingston last weekend and caught an evening at Leon's Centre, which turned out to be a real highlight of our trip. The sightlines from our seats in the upper bowl were surprisingly good - we could see the entire ice surface without straining at all. Staff were friendly and patient with us when we had trouble finding our section, which we always appreciate at a big venue. For a couple who don't get out to arenas much anymore, it was a lovely reminder of how much fun a live event can be.
