A very pleasant place to stop in for a bite with very friendly staff and a pretty spot on tasty burger. Very efficient service, we had someone at our table a couple of minutes after arriving giving us details of the specials and taking our drink order. Our meals arrived in a reasonable time and were very good, the fries were maybe a bit overcooked but still tasty. Can easily recommend for your next visit to Perth.
It’s a good idea to reserve a table ahead at this restaurant, because it’s a VERY busy place. We had to wait for over half an hour to get in. The waitress was nice enough to take our phone number and call us when the table was ready. In that way we could go to the playground nearby with the kids. Check out the park on the other side of the Western Hotel - it’s gorgeous! And at the end of it is a newly built playground, which is NOT on the Google Maps. Anyhow, the burgers were amazingly good. Fresh orange juice and home made ice tea was a great treat too. Bathrooms are tricky to find. If you are on the patio, you have to go inside the restaurant and go upstairs. Great place and worth the wait!
A good lunch place with great service. The California burger was delicious and the fries were great too. The quesadilla had a bit too much cheese towards the bottom for us, but if you like a lot of cheese it would be a good choice. Our waitress was so kind and the food came out quickly.
I had the pleasure of dining at Rocky River Cafe today, and it was a fantastic experience! We ordered the soup of the day, mussels, and the Reuben sandwich – each dish was absolutely delicious.Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal and cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!
A real gem in Perth! Puppies permitted on the patio. That's a big thing for many diners.nnThe food was very good, the patio was welcoming and the service was good.nnThey were short on staff, an issue in most restaurants in Ontario. The staff were friendly and helpful.nnWe will be back!
