I am currently a sophomore here and so far it has been a great school. Teachers are very knowledgeable about subjects, there is a lot of freedom, they give you multiple opportunities, and etc. It is a great school to go to or to send you children to. Years ago, I heard that the school wasn't that close, but in recent years they have really worked on the school becoming a community and a family. People are very nice to one another, and if there is a bad situation such as bullying, the staff will handle it appropriately. Also, students have tons of freedom, they have a range of classes each year that they can take, and each year that range gets bigger and bigger. Also it is an open campus, where you can leave during lunch and go anywhere you want. By the way there are a lot of restaurants nearby that is in walking distance. So if you want to, come to Rocky and be a lobo with us, we would welcome you with open arms.
I went to RMHS my freshman year and was miserable. The staff doesn't care, and there are so many students in one single class, that teachers don't even know their names! There is no sense of community or togetherness. Teachers pick favorites. I would not recommend this school. Send your child to a school that will actually care about their learning and success.
Went to basketball game here. Gyms are nice but signage could be improved. School seemed clean.
I graduated from here a couple years ago and I must say that I loved it here. All the teachers that I had were the teachers that you could go to if you had a question and they would do there best to help you understand the answer to that question. RMHS is a great school.
I love going to this school. We promote EQUALITY and ACCEPTANCE. I have thrived here, and I am happy to learn next to and learn from my peers of all cultures. I also want to point out, to those who have made some extremely unkind and racist comments, that the United States is built on principals of equality, that the first people to settle here from the western world came here as to escape bigamist, and to this day the constitution still states the the church and state are to be separate. So, no, the United States isn't a Christian country, it is a free country, which means we, as students, have the right to recite the pledge in English, or Arabic, or Spanish, or if we so please, Pig Latin. So, in summation, great school =.
My son is a sophomore this year & even though he and some of his friends didn't make some athletic teams...It seems like they are actually enjoying themselves more. I know I do get to see him more. Best part is that when I used to work High School Blood Drives...I learned that Rocky was the best place we could send him. ~~ Thank you for helping me shape & mold my son into a young man ~~
Graduated Student and couldn't have gone to a better HS in Fort Collins... I've lived in Colorado My whole life and this school is defiantly the one to go to.
the student deans are the only problem with RMHS especially if your not Caucasian other than that this is the best school out there
A good school, nothing amazing, but also doesn't have any real negatives.
I did not go here nor do I have any knowledge of this school.
