Came to this location for the first time and it was super busy on a weekend. They were able to accommodate our big group on a short notice. Tried a bunch of flatbread pizzas and pastas. The pizzas were delicious with nice thin crust and fresh ingredients. The pastas were okay but definitely not the highlight of the night. Overall we enjoyed our meal and would recommend for family and friends gathering.
We went there on a Tuesday for their 3 course menu. The soups were really nice, the pasta was one of the best I have had in a long time, but their artisan pizzas were only okay. The flavors didn't agree with my palate. The desserts were good, I loved their brownie! Overall a decent place to visit for date night!
Came to experience making our own pizzas for a friend's birthday. It was quite busy during dinner and we waited for a long time before getting started. However, once we started making our own individual pizzas, it was great! The food quality was amazing and the pizza itself was cooked perfectly. Overall a great pizza making experience in a fun environment.
For drink, I ordered earl grey cranberry. It was an amazing non alcoholic drink. Next, we had a lot of fun making our pizza. For dessert, the apple crumble with coconut ice cream on top, was super.
My friend and I are visiting from another province and country. The servers were super warm and friendly. They made us feel welcomed and gave us great tips on what to enjoy in Vancouver. We had a great Friday night with 5 glasses of beers and food. The pizzas we ordered were pesto shrimp, all Canadian, and some meat pizza. However, after we returned to our homes, my friend told me he needed to vomit. I thought perhaps we drank a little too much, but later I needed to vomit as well. Shortly after, being unable to sleep at 4am, we now both have diarrhea, muscle aches, and fevers. We got food poisoning. We suspect it’s the goat cheese or the shrimp both are on the pesto shrimp pizza. At first I thought the shrimp was fine, but looking back on how green it looked and the “fishy” taste, I want to suspect that was the root cause. My friend did not eat the meat pizza so we know it’s not that. I hope the restaurant owners see this so they can double-check their inventory so no other customers will experience the same fate as us. While my friend and I will be bed-ridden on our vacation, we will be losing some of our precious time. But at the very least, we can prevent that from happening to other potential customers.
I've been coming for years, both locations. I've been a big fan for a long time, mostly because the owners are such lovely humans, but also the food. They are committed to sourcing locally, and before they closed their kits location, even grew their own microgreens out back! They source as much organic as they can, buy from local farmers, and basically make everything with love. I don't eat meat, but vegetarian and vegan options abound here. Great place to come if you have family or friends that are both omnis and veggies or vegans. Kid-friendliness: VERY kid friendly. Dietary restrictions: Loads of vegan and veg options.
We came here for lunch and ordered the Bacon & Potato Artisan Flatbread and the Smoked Salmon Benny to share for 2. We were not asked for a choice of side for the Eggs Benny tomato & arugula salad w/ balsamic dressing, but still refreshing! We weren’t offered a choice of how we would like our poached eggs, although I’m sure you could ask. The flatbread had great flavour and the crust was not soggy from the toppings. Chili oil & hot sauce was provided to us. Overall a nice lunch choice!
We ordered 2 pastas and 1 pizza for 4 people. It was so nice time to enjoy our food! Especially, Our server 'Crici' was so polite and kind that we can have dinner comfortably. Thank u for giving good memorizing
We used to come here often before COVID and now on return, nothing has changed. Still great food, good service and cozy ambiance. We tried the dough balls with olive oil and balsamic vinegar hint: use the sides of the bowl and then got three pizzas fig and Brie, naturally meaty, and Westcoast. All good. So yummy!
I ordered takeout from this restaurant tonight. Due to Omicron, I would rather have dinner at home with my family. I ordered: - naturally meaty flatbread - rocky margarita flatbread - farmers market flatbread - chef's feature pasta with chicken - mushroom linguine vegan - penne bolognese - roasted cauliflower bites - roasted bc mushroom caps with smoked salmon and cream cheese We liked all of the food above except the roasted bc mushroom caps. why? when we opened the box, there were only 3 small mushrooms. all of us were shocked how small the mushrooms had shrunk and they cost $8.50. It cost $8.50 because it was stuffed filled with smoked salmon and cream cheese, but the size was just crazily small! Unbelievable. We enjoyed the flatbreads as their crusts were thin and the ingredients were good. The sauces of the pastas were good, but the texture of pastas was too soft. The restaurant had overcooked them indeed. I personally would recommend the flatbreads to others, but not the pastas not the restaurant's specialty and which still need a lot of improvement. The customer service was good. A server who took care of my takeout order was friendly and welcoming. Parking. Not an issue. There is street parking paid or free. However, of course I personally don't like to pay and park right on Main Street. I would rather park in the residential area and on a small street and walk to the restaurant. :
