Rockwynn Lodge

Just came back from a week there. Rustic cabin which I love and immaculately clean. Cute Cafe open every morning, access to all kinds of watercraft ! Gorgeous lake to paddle on. on the rainy day we used to awesome sauna. Lorn and Diana are very accommodating and approachable! Highly recommend and I plan to go back next year!.

My recent stay at Rockwynn Cottages was exactly what I was looking for to relax, recharge and reset before returning to my life at home. The entire area is beautiful, the grounds and cottages are well kept, and clean and the owners, Lorn and Diane were personable, friendly and accommodating. When Lorn tells you that his wife makes the best pastries in the world, he isn't lying either, just don't make the mistake I did and wait a few days to go to the cafe.

I have travelled on the island for Thanksgiving weekend and it was amazing. The place is beautiful and the fall colors were magical. Lorn and Diana are very accommodating, welcoming and available. They put at your disposal pedal boats and kayaks to go around in the island for free, we had a great time. I would 100% recommend for a retreat in nature a few hours away from Toronto. And you can bring your dog! Thank you guys!

We had a great stay here. The property and the lake are beautiful. We had a very relaxing stay. Lorne and Diana were fantastic hosts and have done a great job with the property. The cabin we stayed in was rustic and charming and had beautiful views of the water. The dock was a great place to swim off of and the boat rentals were a convenient way to explore the lake. If we are in the area again, we will be back.

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Rockwynn. If you are looking for a relaxing and peaceful vacation, this is the perfect place. There is great fishing, canoeing/kayaking, swimming and diving right off the dock in deep crystal clear water. The scenery and lake are beautiful and we were lucky to be able to watch the sunset every night. Lorn and Diana are the best hosts. Lorn picked us up from the land dock and it was only a 5 minute boat ride to the lodge. We will return next year!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the cottage lofts and it was a great time. I'd highly recommend renting the boat and go cliff jumping. The waters are not as busy as Muskoka and it's a nice boat ride into town.

What an amazing experience away from everything. A lovely cottage on a Muskoka island. Pack everything for your weekend and just live on the island for the weekend once Lorn picked you up from the land on his boat : Diana and Lorn are wonderful hosts. Property is beautiful. And cottages are really clean and well maintained. Fall was beautiful. Needs to come back for summer time now :

A fantastic getaway! Beautiful lake, cozy cottage and wonderful hosts. We had a great time relaxing, fishing and enjoying the sun and scenery on the dock. Thanks Diana and Lorn for a great vacation. Highly recommend!

Just perfect! Diana and Lorn are amazing hosts. The cabins are rustic but cute and comfortable. The location is excellent. We stayed in the Wellhaven cottage and loved every minute. We hope to return!

My wife and I spent a relaxing week at the charming rustic Cottage #2. It has a well equipped kitchen, large 3 piece bathroom with shower stall, sink and toilet and there is hot and cold running potable water. The bed was brand new; something not normally seen in a rental cottage, nice and soft for a great nights sleep. There are plenty of screened windows and doors allowing for a nice cross breeze throughout the cabin. The screened-in porch was a wonderfully cool and shady place to relax. The dock is 20 feet from the cottage door, and is normally reserved for that cottage only. The swimming at the end of the dock is in deep water. There are flat rocks at the dock near shore making getting out easy. They have another dock that is common to all the cottages which is more kid friendly. The Walleye and Crapie fishing was excellent the first few days before a weather front slowed things down,, with lots of keeper sized fish available and I caught a nice one over 46cm that became my one over. The resort will be undergoing continuous improvements over the next few years as the new owners; Lorn and Diana, strive to add thier own special touch to the place, and I'm sure they will keep us up to date on thier web site.
