Welcome to Rocket Bakery & Fresh Food! We are the home of house made breads, yummy desserts, deliciously prepared hot and cold dishes and tasty coffee! Step into our warm, friendly space at 272 Water Street where the aroma of hot-out-of-the-oven Rocket specialties will remind you of home! Everything is made from scratch in Rocket’s second floor bakery and kitchen, from the finest of ingredients with many sourced locally! We offer friendly, dine-in and catering options as well as event booking in our unique, 2,000 square foot third floor Rocket Room! Drop in! We'd love to show you our NL inspired lifestyle!

Is open 365 days a year and serves some of the best baked goods in town. It hosts local and visiting performers fairly regularly, especially during tourist season. The coffee and service is pretty good. The only con about this place is that it can get a little confusing and chaotic when it's really busy and your ordering from 2 different counters.

My absolutely favourite place to have lunch. The prices are a little high for the food you’re getting but the quality is great. I always feel like I’m getting real food!

Lots of sunlight. Good food and drinks. Nice sitting area. Colourful. For solo ppl, couples, groups of friends...it welcomes everyone. Love it there! It has a vibrant positive energy!

Amazing Lattes. Some of the best I've ever tried. They used to get their beans from Phil and Sebastian. Their baked goods are great. Awesome breakfast burritos. Service is friendly. The only issue is the lack of street parking in the area.

For a pre made sandwich spot the food was excellent. Fish cakes are a must try. Only complaint is that it's a little bit pricey.
