An extremely friendly staff member greets you at the main gate when you arrive. The cost is very fair for what you get to explore. Several viewing areas of the falls. The creek running through the property is beautiful. Went here in the summer but the conservation area would look amazing in any season. The 150 stairs are an adventure them selves. Well worth checking out rock glen if you are nearby.
I visited this place during the end of the fall season . I was so peaceful place with colorful leaves covering some part of that. I took amazing pictures and made outstanding videos in my phone. I recommend everyone to go there and visit not only that waterfall, but also other nearby places like a river.Visited onWeekendWait time1 hr+Reservation recommendedYes
Nice place to visit and spend some time with mother nature. The waterfall itself is beautiful, you can venture down or up the stream in watershoes or hopping over rocks. For the hike, many stairs to climb...overall the place is a nice addition to your day outdoors, would combine with another attraction.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Beautiful waterfall and nice trails to hike. I took my 12 year old sister and she loved looking at all the cool rocks and fossils they had. The staff are really nice as wellVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Even though it is a small waterfalls we enjoyed the cold showers & dip. Kids were collecting a few stones with different patterns & were playing in the mud. We visited the museum. Kids enjoyed. You have to pay around ~$4.5 per head for entrance with or without a vehicle. We visited Rock Glen conservation while we were staying at the Ipperwash Beach area. The entire location is great with multiple places to visit with famil, esp. Rock Glen waterfalls is a must if you're exploring nearby places.
A great place to walk around and enjoy nature. A bit smaller than I expected but extremely charmingVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
An excellent hiking trail with a natural river and waterfall. If you like to walk with nature you definitely love that. The entrance fee is $4.46. Now working only on weekends 10:30 to 5 pm. July and August open that for daily.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Nice scenic walk. The river and waterfall were beautiful. Good vibes, interesting fossils abundant... hike wasnt long, dont let the distance fool you tho, lots of stairs. People with mobility issues probably wont be able to access lower gorge. People with decent mobility will quite enjoy the bounty.Visited onWeekday
Such a wonderful place to visit. We come here 2-3 times a year at least. My kids LOVE playing here, swimming in the waterfall, finding fossils, etc. Lots of stairs so prepare to climb. Picnic areas with charcoal bbqs available. Lots of parking. Bathrooms are clean. The museum is full of history of the area. The people working the gate are always very kind. Nice little play area for the kids with swings and slide. Very busy in the summer! Much more enjoyable other times of the year
Beautiful area to get out and explore. Nice greeting at entrance provides map and information. Very reasonable fee for entrance to the park. Hiking trail around and to the fall has many steps but ample area for breaks if needed along the way. Recommend Hiking the trail around the falls, not just looking at the fall and leaving, the hike provides great views of the trees, forest, river etc. Get out and enjoy nature!
