What a great place to watch trains. You never know what you might see. Good shelter, plenty of seats. Just be patient - something cool is coming down the rails.
Absolutely loved it. There's a train kids can play on, my niece & nephew loved it. It's so amazing watching the trains go by. Completely free, although there's a gift shop with train merchandise, not sure if their open. It's also really neat that you can tune into a radio station to see what trains are coming.
Regulars at the park were happy to share information about the railroad history of the area, and three trains passed by in the space of a few minutes. Fun!
Pretty place and very informative signs. Too bad it's closed on the weekends, which I think would be the best time for people to come. We've been here twice, both pre- and post Covid quarantine and both times you could only go about outside.
Great place to watch trains! The raised platform has a large pavilion and puts you at eye-level with the trains crews. Located at the junction of two busy rail lines, there's plenty of action.
