I recently attended a conference at Robson Square, located within the UBC Robson Square premises in downtown Vancouver, and I was thoroughly impressed with the venue. The building is a true architectural gem, featuring a sleek, modern design combined with stunning open spaces. The location itself is perfect — centrally situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver, making it easily accessible for attendees.nnThe facilities are top-notch, with spacious conference rooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology. The environment is both professional and welcoming, offering a productive atmosphere for events of all sizes. One of the highlights for me was the natural light that floods the building, giving it a bright and airy feel, which makes a big difference for long conference days.nnAdditionally, Robson Square’s proximity to nearby shops, restaurants, and attractions is a major plus for attendees looking to explore during breaks. The building also features a beautiful outdoor plaza, which is perfect for enjoying the views or taking a walk around the vibrant city center.nnOverall, I had an excellent experience at Robson Square and would highly recommend it as a conference venue. The location, facilities, and atmosphere made for a fantastic event. I look forward to attending another event here in the future!
Went skating on Boxing Day. Long line ups for skates rentals but we brought our own. It was nice that there were lockers available to rent for only a quarter.nnThe rink is free to use, a legacy of the 2010 winter Olympics and its been probably that long since we last visited. It was very crowded as it was the holiday break. It was hard to skate as giant groups of people would arbitrarily stand blocking the skate path
Super street for shopping and eating.nLots of options for high end and mid level stuff.nBeautifully lit up in the evenings
City central Square with lots of activities around like museums ,ice rink , food trucks, schools . This area has always been a location for protests rallies to gather . Its got lots of green spaces here . Local festivals gather here and annual local markets , artists .....at night it's beautifully lighted up
I was just there to visit because it was a filming location for X Files! I don't know anything else about it. It seemed to have an ice rink but it was closed when I was there in July. There was a hotdog van and an art gallery very close.
