Awesome spot! Tucked away outside of the more urban areas, this airport to many a pilot hobbyist, instructor, or pilot-in-training. Staff are quite friendly. The frequents are also kind to newcomers, and are, in a nutshell, small plane enthusiasts. You’ll learn something from someone there, just by walking in the front door and into the conference room where instructors meet students and hobbyists check maps pre-flight.
First time at Robertson. Had a good time watching the workings of the airport. Flew and was flight-line maintenance on C-130s for my time in the Air Force. '67/'70
Took our two-year-old granddaughter who loves planes to the airport. Not only did we see several planes take off the staff was super friendly and even gave us a private tour of a plane. They have a little picnic area where you can sit and watch the planes take off
Nice airport. Single runway.
My grandfather came here often to watch the planes come and go. Today brought him back for the first time in a while. It was wonderful.
