Made a phone call 2 weeks in advance to get a line run to my kitchen sink under my trailer. The woman on the phone said there may be a delay and I said that was fine, I just needed it done within the next two weeks. After a week with no follow up or appointment time I called yesterday to find out what was going on. Again I was told that she would reach out to the plumber and get back to me. I asked if it would be by end of day Monday to which she replied either that or Tuesday. Tuesday came and I again called back and was given a response with no substance that the plumber had been notified but had not gotten back to her. I explained the importance of a follow up by end of day Tuesday and have been left hanging,. After calling back she is either not answering the phone or deliberately avoiding picking up my number. I feel I was more than patient with little to no engagement on behalf of Robert's. Not sure if this is a problem with their clerical staff or where the problem is but there's no excuse for someone to take your information and not get back to you with a 2 week turnaround time. I called another plumber who was able to confirm an appointment for Thursday and had excellent customer service skills that offered an appointment without the ambiguity. Management should take note of the poor service from their intake. Yellowknife is such a small community that it's hard to leave bad reviews for people without you expecting it to come around, but I'm done accepting that we have to settle for this poor service because we live in the North. I take my work seriously and expect others to do the same. Do the job right the first time and treat people how you want to be treated.

Great service, came after hours with a smile on his face and fixed the issue right away.
Second service call: again, came right away and fixed it.
Robert's has earned a customer for life.
