this was like a hidden gem that my sister and I found after hiking at the Gatineau Park. The smell inside was amazing, like freshly baked bread and pizza, and it was very cozy inside with cottage vibes. They have a cool niche because their pizzas are very unique and authentic. also very accommodating because I was able to get extra truffle on my pizza, and all the slices that we tried were delicious and not overly greasy or too filling. It’s a great place to go for brunch or lunch but a little bit pricey:
Italian style pizza - sold by slice. The kitchen is open concept and the chef is very interactive. When we stepped in he explained the process to us as he was baking. They have several unique flavours to choose from and also offer gluten free crust. The gf crust was crunchy yet soft… I must say it is one of the best gf crusts I have had to date in Ottawa. In addition, the restaurant is casual but decorated artistically which I really appreciated. Overall very good experience, the only thing I would change is the value.

Delicious quality pizza! The owner Roberto was very welcoming and the restaurant is a little treat especially after coming back from a hike at Gatineau Park. The interior design is beautiful, modern and looks fresh too with artworks for sale in the dining room. The pizza slices were delicious and wholesome, both the savory and sweet ones. Everything was good *chef's kiss*, I didn't expect it as most restaurants are over-rated. The pizza crust was crispy, light, and the ingredients tasted fresh, so fresh that you know this place is authentic. Immediately became one of my favorite pizza spots in the region they have lots of vegetarian options which is amazing!. I wish you guys all success! Please continue with your high quality menu and warm hospitality as you keep growing. The truffle pizza and the potato pizza were unique. And the Nutella mascarpone one was a perfect ending to this wonderful lunch tasting. Grazie mille for one of the most satisfying lunch I had in quite some time!
Delicious pizza! Crust is a bit thicker than I'm used to. Pizza tastes close to my moms homemade pizza. A bit overpriced...pieces range from $2.50 - $5.00 each. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very charming and authentic. Enjoyed myself and enjoyed the food.
My wife and I walked in there for a quick slice. We walked out of there blown away by how amazing it was. I mean yes the place is cool but it's the taste that made it all happened. We picked a few different pieces and it all tasted absolutely phenomenal. We are definitely coming back here next time we're around.
Probably the best pizza I had in Ottawa / Gatineau area. It’s made in Roman style with square slices and they use really interesting toppings like scrambled eggs and guacamole. A must try restaurant for pizza lovers and for those in Chelsea area looking for a great dining experience. It’s a small cozy restaurant with a family feel and they even have a cool open fire outside in the winter.

Really enjoyed the Roman slices at Roberto’s. I’m a pizza blogger in Montreal @drneapolitan and wasn’t expecting such a high-end classic al taglio in my little hometown of Chelsea! Second time ordering, tried about 8 of their different toppings. Yes, as some reviews say this is a thicker crust, but purposefully so the Roman style. It’s thicker, but airy, light and crunchy. My fave was the potato pie, with the spicy salami coming close second. The anchovy one was a bit too salty due to anchovies, capers and olives which are each salty in their own right. The zucchini was reallllyyy savoury, very impressed. Will be back anytime! If you want a great reheat, consider using a preheated pizza stone in your oven. Hats off to the chefs, look forward to my next visit when I’m in town.
Truly amazing! We have tried everything! Pizza, handmade pork tortellini they only have it on December only, soup, wine, and tiramisu. Highly recommended and you won’t regret!
