All campsites have a picnic table and fire pit, surrounded by beautiful spruce and pine trees. Equipped with hot showers, clean bathrooms, drinking water and firewood, this quiet location is the perfect retreat for any avid camper. Amazing! LOVED IT. Wish Whitehorse wasn't so far away so we could come back again. Fantastic fabulous wonderful campground. Walk-in tent sites were pristine with raked sand for a nice e spot to set up. Fire pits were wide and clean. Lots of trees for coverage or to tie a tarp to. Ultra friendly staff and the most delicious coffee, espresso and cappuccino. Showers were hot and excellent pressure. Bathrooms clean. Huge playground with lots of toys for kids. Firewood as much as you can cut and carry. Can't say enough good things about RSC.

A lot of fun for a family with young children. More a giant play area than a campsite. Walkable to Whitehorse, and the sites are pretty private. Be aware that there is an extra fire charge, per day. So if you stay one night, have fire that night, and the next morning, you will pay $22 for the site, $7 for the evening fire, and $7 for the morning fire.

The one thing they could make better is adding power to one or 2 more sites instead of just having one site with power. Oh and add some heat to the bathroom so you don't freeze when you shower.

We arrived to find out the campsite we had reserved was not user friendly for our type of shelter, even though we had requested expressly. We were then given another campsite but we couldn't get in that one either. We were expected to set up on the road way. So we set up our tent trailer where the caravans go in a large parking lot with too little space (a couple of feet between us and the next guys), the filthiest picnic table I have ever seen (I wouldn't even sit at it) and no clear idea of whose table is whose. On the night before we left, new neighbors took our water jug and a few other supplies off of the table while we were not there and set their things on it because they figured it belonged to their 'slip'. We didn't have one then. Crazy set up. Close to town and the airport so a little noisy. Other campers were friendly and staff was okay and there was some good trails to walk or bike nearby. I would say stay farther out of town if you can.
