The dog sledding was great! It wasn't a good experience when we first arrived. We didn't know where to go, they had no signs posted up to where the building was at, and we would ask people and they would tell us where to go, but I was in a wheelchair!
Beautiful, well maintained trails. Not sure if it was the holiday Labor Day or normal, but we were thrilled to only encounter other people at the trailhead. Whilst on the trail it felt as though we had the place to ourselves. Definitely coming back again.
Amazing and very knowledgeable group of people help run this program. We went as a school field trip and loved it. The students and I learned so much. I can't wait to take my own kids there and explore the trials more!
Today was my first time hiking at Ney park. We will definitely be returning again. Absolutely beautiful!
What a gem of a park for all seasons. We had a wonderful time dog sledding as a part of Wright County Parks and Recreation programming and everything about the experience was pleasant and handled well. The park itself is huge with groomed trails and opportunities to rent equipment to enjoy them. There are also educational resources as a part of the park.
Small county park that has primarily shaded trails that are well maintained year-round.
Great trails! Even have new trails to explore.
Just participated in a lantern-lit cross country skiing family event. The trails were well groomed and lit, snacks and hot chocolate were provided, and a bonfire was available to warm up around.
No amount of bug spray can save you from the sketos Pretty though.
Generally love these trails but there were no tracks for skis due to large amount of hikers/snow shoes.
