One of best public park in Mississauga, Ontario. Park is located in one best area on Lakeshore. You will opportunity to see Toronto and Mississauga from a distance across Lake Ontario. The Park has access to conservation wetlands, with boards walking and its well organized and newly renovated for easy access to all families. There are a lot of picnics areas with long sand beaches not recommended for swimming. Park has few washroom and it’s well done in away that gives space to all activities. Be careful it could busy on good day.
Huge, clean park in Mississauga for family picnics. The washrooms are clean and that deserves a thumbs up. On weekends the park is pretty full and you have to wait to find a parking spot. There's a kids play area, splash pool, walking trail and lots of picnic tables, to set up your BBQ. It was my first time there and was impressed with the number of times I saw the garbage collected and how well maintained the park is. Definitely worth going again.
Park is very popular. Has picnic areas, beach and a leash free zone. Toronto skyline with CN tower visible across the lake. Fall colours just setting in. Will look great by next week. Just remember parking can be a challenge and I saw people getting tickets for not parking in a regular spot.
Huge, nice clean park in Mississauga for get together, bbq, family picnics and more. The washroom getting into the park by the dog park was clean I don’t think anyone remembered it was there. By midday the main washroom were not clean. We went on the Saturday and it was packed. Parking was hard to find and was not happy parking enforcement were giving out $100 tickets. There's a kids play area, splash pool, walking trail and lots of picnic tables, to set up your BBQ come early to secure a good spot. It was my first time there and was impressed with the number of times I saw the garbage collected and how well maintained the park is. I would definitely go again.
A very big park with a lot of Parking lots across the place. There is a splash Pad for kids and a couple of beaches to relax. There are lot of picnic tables and BBQ spots as well. The park is connected to a trail that runs through a conservation area where if you are lucky you might be able to see a couple of deers.
Good place for picnic and beach. Awesome water. There are many parking lots but lots of them are occupied pretty soon in the morning. Consider coming early in the mrng to get a spot. Totally we had fun and a memorable day
Whether summer, spring ,fall or winter...this is a perfect place to go for some walk or walk your dog. But in summers and fall this is a perfect destination for picnic, barbeques, hiking and fall colour watching. A great family outing place. Playground: Huge play grounds for kids. Restrooms: Ample restroom facilities all over the park Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome here in the park. There is an off leash area for the dogs as well
Jack Darking Park is still my favorite spot to retreat to on a hot lazy summer's day when I need to be by the water. A stone through away from home, it's an awesome location for when I want to cycle through the Waterfront trial and stop off for a quick break and a refreshment. I often like to enjoy a picnic or just simply go for a stroll with a good friend or take some beautiful pics of the full moon over looking Lake Ontario with the breathtaking view of downtown Toronto in the horizon.
Nestled in the busy Mississauga GTA area, this is serene place for the whole family. A great picnic spot to spend the entire day, with lots of activities that one can do from barbecue to cycling walking, you name it. This place has brilliant unobstructed views of Toronto downtown with endless photo opportunities. The Boardwalk was not fully open when we visited but the walk had breathtaking views and overall a great experience. A must visit for enjoyment for the whole family, with free parking and washroom facilities onsite.
Nice park with nice views. Washrooms are not that clean and weekends are quite busy there. Go early to get a good parking spot. Beautiful sounds of nature and the waves.
