Roadside Restaurant

It's a decent place for a quick bite. Food is fairly good priced. Portions are adequate. Servers should come check on the customers during their visit, after they receive their food or appetizers. Our server disappeared the last time til our food was under the hot plate, can't say I was very happy, as I needed things to go w my appetizer. Was checked on once at the very beginning of our meal, not again til the check. Ummmm... needed more to drink!

It doesn't really get much better than this place. I've been coming here for a long time. Every time I'm here I love the food I get. The service is awesome! Make sure you get here before 11am and get the Ripple River Waffle. Scrumtrulescent, simply amazing.

It was excellent, great food, great service at a great price. Can't wait to go back and try a couple other menu choices.

Carmel rolls are better than you'll find anywhere! Roadside is our choice when at thr lake. Hot beef or turkey with gravy, excellent mashed potatoes or sweet potato fries. Soups are yummy. Love the meatloaf, waffles, and omelets too. Coffee always fresh!

Good food and service with a relatively large menu. Excellent sweet potato fries. The potato salad is a bit bland by my family's tastes. Chili is good (and tastes as though it were made the Midwest way where chili powder is added to the soup directly rather than browned with the meat.) Good selection of desserts.
