"This family-style restaurant in St. John's is the city's favourite spot for Filipino food. If you've never tried Filipino food before, this friendly spot is the best place to dig in to spicy beef caldereta and chicken adobo!"

This was my first foray into Filipino food and I had a great experience. The portions here are moderate and the food tastes great. The spicy foods aren't over spiced as a tolerance test, but instead rely on the blend of spices to achieve the desired result. The non-spicy dishes were similarly flavourful. There are choices for either end of the preferred palate spectrum. The service was speedy and polite. The atmosphere of the restaurant is well suited to table conversation. I was pleased to note the complete absence of any wall mounted TVs, or loud music competing with the table talk.
Go try the nachos! It's a different take on the classic chip! The chicken skewers were melt in your mouth! And the coconut tilapia soup is very hearty.
Clean and modern looking restaurant with plenty of spacing between tables. The space was really cold in February but the service was friendly and fast and food arrived very quickly. Drinks were served in cans instead of glasses which I felt was inappropriate for the scale of the restaurant. I also ordered shrimp with vegetables but received chicken instead of shrimp and the vegetables indicated on the menu were not in my entree. The dish I received was very bland and 90% cabbage, flavorless sauce and about 5% chicken. I also tried the steamed pork belly bun. The bun was somewhat dry with very little pork. Not to mention that the dishes are very expensive for the portion of food you receive. I was so excited to try this restaurant but was very disappointed. I may try another dish the curry in the future; but probably not.
I just moved to this town and it was my first order! The mango milkshake is terrific. I love it sooo much! Will definitely visit again very soon! Thanks for the fantastic meal
Great customer service and great food!!!Love the sisig and kare kareFood: 5/5
The first thing I tried was this bun stuffed with pork, and had honey garlic sauce on the side. Then pork belly tacos on a steamed bun, an absolute must have. Ending the meal with some skewers and noodles. 5 stars indeed
Sweet & sour chicken and wonton nachos are definitely my favorites. Tacos were great a bit too much coleslaw on top.
Was expecting better; for starters finding long black hair in two different dishes from takeout didn't exactly help my review. Two dishes contained way too many dry potato chunks, the chop suey was tasteless, but the won ton nachos were very good hence two stars. And it was over $100 for a dinner for 4....
My friend bought a porc filled bun. He said it was very delicious. I asked if they had any other choices of fillings such as chicken, turkey, beef or vegetarian. Unfortunately, they said no. Porc is the only option...Food: 4/5
Stopped in for a quick lunch of a different flavour so i ordered the Pansit with Shrimp and Spring Rolls. The Pansit was a really nice fresh plate of noodles and shrimp that livened up with a squeeze of lime. Very good. The Spring Rolls were thick and crisp. Nice light flavour very filling. Prices were reasonable and the service was friendly and informative. They are celebrating a 3 year anniversary and I wish them many more years of service .
