Really neat walk area to step off the main walk. Great views of the River you can see the tour boats, jet boats and etc . Great scenic views for family photos. The family loves to take a break from shopping and water parks to always grab some pictures of this area. We went for Christmas one year and they had a beautiful tree all lite up but I lost that phone with that picture
This was a nice little walk along the river, it was peaceful, beautiful, places to rest if you needed to. Some interesting facts posted along the path. Great views of the river and the boats and even a restaurant along the way incase you want some lunch.
This is an absolutely gorgeous walk along the Wisconsin River. My only hope would be for it to be longer- although I don’t know where they would extend it to. There are benches scattered here and there and there are even two tables where you can play chess/checkers you have to bring your own game pieces. Highly recommend walking on this when you’re in The Dells.
Great for a sunset watch This overlooks the river and is a lovely place to sit or for a stroll. At night the colorful sunsets are great but it is limited with the trees in the way. The nice teak wood benches are a nice surprise. It is close to shopping and dining, grab your ice cream and stroll the Riverwalk.
This is a very lovely short walk along the Wisconsin River. You can see many boats sailing in the river as well as some of the rock formation along the walk. It took us roughly 30 min to walk and stop both ways very casually with little kids. The main entrance on Broadway is under construction and is therefore closed. We didn't realized it before parking the car in the lot and paying for it. Later we got into the walk from the other end along River Rd where free street parking becomes available.
We went for the holiday lights because it was one of the very few FREE things to do in the dells and it was a really nice, relaxing atmosphere! The lights were gorgeous with plenty of photo oops! Definitely stop by to walk around and check out the themed trees, sponsored by their local businesses.
10/19/21 River Walk Wisconsin Dells is a short path but not short of the scenic beauty of the Wisconsin Dells. If you come to walk in the morning and in the dawn, you will enjoy the different scenic pictures of the river banks. Beautiful walk along the river with great points of history to learn as well. Well maintained and peaceful!
Not the biggest Riverwalk in America but there's a lot of pride behind it. We went on Thanksgiving week and it was decorated for Christmas. Christmas lights everywhere!
The walk from the start is pretty easy. You go down hill mainly. The walk back is going up. When you get the end its really steep. Someone who couldn't walk very far or fast should be picked up at the end instead of walking back. I wish there were flowers planted along the way.
