Never Disappoints you!! We love going to this restaurant. Food here is perfect. The owner/order taker is very good and customises the dish for you as well.
Have many traditional Chinese dishes, food is delicious and staff are helpful and friendly.
It was a terrible experience. We literally drove across town to pickup our food because the reviews were amazing. There were remains of steel wires in our shrimp fried rice and chow mein, probably from wire sponge. It was disgusting. Never going there again and do not recommend them to anyone. Food was also tasting very average ate some before discovering the wire sponge particles in our food. How does wire sponge remains end up in takeout food? Did they wash the rice with it or something?!
Open for takeout! Generous portions and lots of protein in the dishes: juicy shrimp and delicious BBQ pork. Menu promises free chicken fried rice with orders over $50, didn't receive Otherwise, really good experience!
I don't know what happened? They closed down for a few weeks for "renovations" and since they opened back up everything has fallen apart. I don't see any renovations or anything different to the dinning room part of the restaurant, my suspicion is they have changed management. The service that used to be so nice and kind is now rude and dismissive. The food that was always consistent and delicious is NOTHING like it used to be, even the sauce flavours have changed the meat is hacked in pieces too big to eat and so inconsistently cooked. It actually saddens my heart that this amazing place the best Chinese in the south end in my opinion has taken such a turn and we will now need to find someplace new.
I ordered from here based on the reviews being good. We were very disappointed. The egg foo yung was mushy. The chow mein was tasteless. The chicken balls were extremely dry and had a strange clove taste. The shrimp and cashews had virtually no shrimp, the cashews were rock hard, and it was mostly fried onions. The honey garlic pork was Rick hard and leathery. Would not recommend
We love Chinese Soup. Ordered deluxe won ton soup for the first time from Riverview. Excellent!! Will absolutely make this our "to go" for soup!!
Ordered through Skip - everything was super tasty, well packed, and not greasy like some Chinese restaurants. I'd recommend and we'll be ordering again!
The worst Chinese food we have ever had! All dishes were tasteless and soggy. Even the fortune cookies were stale! Generous portions of garbage.
Had the pleasure of eating here this past weekend,July 24 2022. The food is amazing, fresh and steaming hot. Requested with no MSG. Soup was excellent as was the other side dishes. Servings are huge and you get your monies worth and more. Staff is also friendly and very courteous. Will not hesitate to go back when in Winnipeg again. Had the Hot and sour Soup, Special Chop Suey and Shrimp Chow Mein
