A very beautiful park, well maintained by the Town of Smithers. Its perfect for every kind of visitor from motor homes to tents, firewood is supplied so are hot showers and wifi. it is closed for the winter months, however the nature trails are open to hikers.

Nice municipal campground. Great adventure playground. Boil water advisory for Smithers as of Sept 2017. Cook house facility for tent campers. Full hook up sites. Easily accessible. Nice park host. Rather expensive we thought for a municipal c/g however they have full serve sites.

What an odd experience here! We couldn't find our tenting spot as none of the tenting spaces are numbered, and when we did find it someone else had (understandably) mistakenly set up in our spot. So we were helter skelter given another spot although I don't know id it was an actual spot. We weren't asked for our reservation or name or anything, so we could have been camping there totally free of charge. We also had to go and seek out the info sheet with the wifi info on it, which didn't work :( I have to say it is probably the quietest campground I've ever stayed at, even with all the RV's. I don't know if that is because it was so cold out and because of the fire ban, but it was dead quiet as of 10 pm every night.

Best hot showers we've found on our 2 month trip across the country, so that says something! Nice river and walking distance to town by road or trail.
