I love this park. It is very easy to access and a place to see year around. They have construction going on right now so some of the areas are not accessible but hopefully they are all done my next summer.
A beautiful and expansive park along the river in downtown Kamloops. Lots of open green spaces, big play structures for the kids, and other sports facilities. A great place for a picnic or to daydream away an afternoon. Worth a visit!
Such a beautiful park in the core of Kamloops. There is even an off leash dog park by the river. The trail winds all along the river. It’s a beautiful walk and, for us, a perfect time of year.
I am not a localite and dont mean to be rude but it's an average park. Nothing great. Quite simple but peaceful. They also have a play area for kids. If you are not from Kamloops, then it's OK even if you don't visit. You are not missing out on something.
Relaxing park, run, walk, bike, play, picnic, meet people or enjoy alone time. This is a top priority for us. Music in the Park is a daily event offering evening of fun for music lovers. Thoroughly enjoyed this park. My wife and I were staying at the Delta hotel downtown and it was a short walk to this park. It was a hot day and we came here at about 10 pm for a nice walk around the park. There are washroom facilities available here. There is a spray park, riverside beach, walking trails, playground and tennis courts. If you’re looking for a great park in Kamloops this is the place for you.
I love this park... my favorite place in the city. Enjoy the sunset... the music when it's there and don't be afraid to strike up a conversation with a stranger... everyone is so friendly
A good place to walk around in your free time. That was the first park I visited here in Kamloops!
This is a great park for people of all ages. There are pickleball and tennis courts with free parking. There is a great paved walkway that winds along the side of the river. Very beautiful place. There is a bit of construction right now but it's fenced off and very safe. There is a lot of money going in for improvements with a new water park for the kids. A great place to visit anytime of the year.
Love this park, and have going to Riverside Park for over 40 years. This goes back to days when the park had the Engine #2141 parked and you we allowed to climb all over it. When the kids came along ,2yrs later we took our son to enjoy time playing on it. So 42 years later I still go to the Park..... still really enjoying it.
