A really great place .newly renovated.  Food is wonderful; friendly staff. In summer one can sit outside on the  decks by the river and enjoy your meal and drinks.

Beautiful Renovations (On going) Pub is beautifully redecorated!! Awesome views of the river ! Good food !! Friendly staff !! I will be going again soon !!!

We ended up at lake Cowichan and stopped at the pub for some refreshments. It looked like there were accommodations on the second floor so we  inquired about staying for the night. We were told that the rooms had just been renovated and we would be some of their first guests. The rooms were fantastic. The staff looked after us like we were family, everyone from the front desk staff, maintenance, the ladies serving at the pub & patio and the kitchen staff were all equally accommodating.  We ended up staying longer than expected, it was hard to leave this place. Nice renovations Wayne, We will be returning.
